EffectDeals more damage when the move is very effective.

Pokemon holding an Expert Belt will be able to deal more damage when their moves are super effective. Use this item on Pokemon which possess a varied set of moves to get the most out of the them!

Get Expert Belt From An Event In Turffield

1Talk to the girl who is at the Turffield watchtower. (Located in the west side of Turffield)
2Check the stone carved with "Grass" which is located nearby the flower shop.
3Check the stone carved with "Water" which is located close to the watchtower. (A man is standing nearby)
4Check the stone carved with "Fire" which is located near Route 5.

Rocky Helmet - Held Item

EffectWhen a Pokemon holding the Rocky Helmet takes a physical attack, it reflects the damage to the opponent.

Have a Pokemon with high Defense hold this item to deal damage while taking less damage from the opponent.

Get Rocky Helmet On A Cliff Near Stow-on-Side

Rocky Helmet

Fly a Taxi to Stow-on-Side & go down the ladder located south of the city. You will see a Poke Ball lying here on the cliff.

Leftovers - Held Item

EffectPokemon holding Leftovers gradually heals its HP.

Another item that goes very well with Pokemon with high Defense. Use Protect and block opponent's attack while healing its HP.

Get Leftovers In The Northeast Part of Giant's Seat

Left Over

Enter the Giant's Seat from North Lake Miloch and you will see a Pokemon den near by. The Pokeball containing it is near that den.

Black Sludge - Held Item

EffectWhen a Poison type Pokemon holds this item, it heals its HP. When non-Poison type Pokemon hold this, it will damage them.

Very similar to Leftovers but exclusively heals Poison type Pokemon.

Find Black Sludge At Riverside of Wyndon

There is a river running just behind Wyndon station. You will see an item flashing on top of the utility hole.

Shed Shell - Held Item

EffectPokemon holding this item can always switch with other Pokemon.

Even if the opponent's ability or move forbids your Pokemon from switching out, you can ignore the effect and still switch.

Shed Shell Is Right Next To Pokemon Nursery

You can find the Shed Shell right next to the Pokemon Nursery on Route 5.

Eviolite - Held Item

EffectWhen held by a Pokemon that can still evolve, it raises both Defense and Sp. Def.

Some Pokemon don't get a particularly large boost in base stats when they evolve, such as Type: Null or Galarian Corsola. In these cases, holding Eviolite is recommended.

Eviolite

Eviolite can be found in a house in the town of Ballonlea. Simply to talk to the woman inside to get it.

Choice Band - Held Item

EffectPokemon holding the Choice Band can only use one move but its attack increases.

The attack of Pokemon with a Choice Band significantly increases, though its move are limited. Use this item with Pokemon who mainly use physical attack moves.

Find Choice Band By The River In Route 2

Choice Band

In front of Magnolia's house, there is a bridge crossing a river. You can enter this river with your bike from the right side of the bridge.

Choice Specs - Held Item

EffectPokemon holding the Choice Band can only use one move but its Sp. Atk increases.

Sp. Atk dramatically increases, though its moves are limited.

EffectPokemon holding the Choice Band can only use one move but its speed increases by 150%.

Terrain Extender - Held Item

EffectTerrain Extender extends the duration of the terrain caused by the holder's move or ability.

Near The Tunnel In The Route 8

Route 8

Find the purple tent on Route 8. There is a path hidden on the right side of the tent.

Focus Sash - Held Item

EffectIf the holder has full HP, it will endure a potential KO attack with 1 HP. (Consumable Item)

Focus Sash prevents your pokemon to be fainted if your pokemon has full HP. Use it with the pokemon is low Defence to guarantee at least one move before fainting.

Find Focus Sash At House In Hammerlocke

Focus Sash

Go to the house right next to the Pokemon center in Hammerlocke. You can get 1 Focus Sash by defeating the trainer. Note that Focus Sash will disappear after being used.

Assault Vest - Held Item

EffectHolder's Sp. Def increases. Holder cannot use move status moves.

The Assault Vest significantly increases its Sp. Def in exchange for making the Pokemon only able to use attack moves.

Find Assault Vest At Lake Of Outrage

The Assault Vest can be found near by a tree in the Lake of Outrage. Look for a flashing dot under the tree located on top of the hill.

Life Orb - Held Item

EffectIncreases the damage of your move while HP decreases every time you attack.

Your Pokemon deals more damage but gets damaged every time it attacks. Use this item with Pokemon that cannot afford to be locked into one move (ie. have setup/buff moves).

Find Life Orb At Slumbering Weald

Proceed to the area of Slumbering Weald where Galarian Wheezing appears. There is a river you can travel down with your bike.

Sitrus Berry - Held Item

EffectA berry which heals small amount of HP when consumed.

Pokemon holding Sitrus Berry will automatically heal HP when damaged.

EffectA berry which heals any negative status effect.

Pokemon holding this berry will heal any bad status automatically. Use this to counter Toxic and other strong bad status moves.

Near the tunnel on Route 9, there is a berry tree which is blocked by two trainers.

White Herb - Held Item

EffectRecover the lowered stat to normal level once.

The holder can recover the lowered stat once. Use this item if your Pokemon uses moves which lower its stats.

Find White Herb In Watchtower Ruins

You can find a White Herb below the tree at South of Watchtower Ruins. Walk toward Dappled Grove and you'll find the tree located right between the two zones.

Light Clay - Held Item

EffectMoves such as Reflect and Light Screen remain in the field longer (8 turns).

Supportive moves such as Reflect and Light Screen's effect is prolonged.

"Rock" - Held Items

EffectThe duration of a particular weather effect is prolonged.

There are 4 "Rock" type items which affect the duration of different weather. Use them if you're running a weather-based combo like a Rain team.

Weather Man In Hammerlocke

Hammerlocke

Enter the house located in the East side of Hammerlocke. By talking to the weather man inside for 4 consecutive days, you can get each "Rock" Item such as the Icy Rock and Heat Rock.

Power Herb - Held Item

EffectSingle use item to be held by a Pokemon. Allows moves that need to be charged to fire immediately.

Use this item to immediately use strong moves such as Solar Beam or Hyper Beam!

Get Power Herb Along Route 10

There is a narrow path along the middle of Route 10. Go down this path and past the patch of grass to find the Power Herb!

Cell Battery - Held Item

EffectItem to be held by a Pokemon. If the holder is hit with an electric type move, it uses up the battery and increases the holder's attack

This item is excellent for countering electric type Pokemon. This allows you to power up your moves and deal massive damage back!

Get Cell Battery Outside of Battle Tower

The Cell Battery can be found just outside of the Battle Tower. Head to the right side of the building to find the Cell Battery!

Throat Spray - Held Item

EffectItem to be held by a Pokemon. Raises the holder's Sp. Atk if it used a sound-based move. The item is then consumed

Sound based moves such as Growl, Roar, Uproar, and Hyper Voice will raise your Sp. Atk, allowing you to deal massive damage against enemies! Keep in mind that once the effect triggers, the Throat Spray is used up.

Does Not Break From One-Hit-KO

The Throat Spray will not break if the sound based move did a one-hit-KO on the opponent.

You will be able to get the Throat Spray by helping the child find his lost Minccino in Motostoke. The lost Pokemon is found by the fountain on the left of the stadium.

Air Balloon - Held Item

EffectAn item to be held by a Pokemon. The holder will float in the air. Once the holder is hit, the balloon will burst

This item is a great way to avoid getting hit by powerful ground moves such as Earthquake and Magnitude! Since the Pokemon is floating in the air, ground moves will not affect it!

The Air Balloon can be found near the large hotel-like building in Wyndon. Head to the right side of the hotel, and the Air Balloon should be sitting right next to a telephone booth!

Luminous Moss - Held Item

EffectAn item to be held by a Pokemon. If the holder is hit with a water type move, it will consume the moss and raise the holder's Sp. Def

The Luminous Moss is a great item that allows you to counter water-type Pokemon. This item increases your Sp. Def, allowing you to take more hits against the enemy!

Get Luminous Moss in Luminous Forest

You will be able to get the Luminous Moss from the Glimwood Weald. Keep your eye out for shiny objects on the ground as these are where you can get the item.

Weakness Policy - Held Item

EffectWhen the Pokemon holding this is hit with a move it is weak to, Attack and Sp. Attack rise sharply.

The Weakness Policy provides a substantial boost to a Pokemon that has been hit with a super effective move. This item can turn the tide of a battle very quickly.

Flame Orb - Held Item

EffectInflicts a burn on the Pokemon holding this item.

The Flame Orb is an item which causes a burn, thus halving the attack of the Pokemon holding it. It may sound unappealing, but it can be used with certain Pokemon that benefit from or ignore status conditions. It can also be given to your opponent to disrupt them.

Flame Orb

The Flame Orb is a random drop from the post-game tournament in Wyndon. After beating the game, you can repeat it as many times as you want until you get the Flame Orb.

Toxic Orb - Held Item

EffectInflicts poison on the Pokemon holding this item.

The Toxic Orb inflicts poison on the Pokemon holding it. Some Pokemon benefit from being poisoned, while others can transfer their poison status onto opponents, so there are many different uses of this.

Get The Toxic Orb At The Tournament

The Toxic Orb is a random drop from the post-game tournament in Wyndon. After beating the game, you can repeat it as many times as you want until you get the Toxic Orb.
