Eggs Inheret Pokeball from Parent Pokemon
Eggs will have the same Pokeball type as one of its parents. It's impossible for an egg to have a different Pokeball than its Parent Pokemon.
Often Inherited from Female Pokemon
The type of Pokeball that the egg and the eventual Pokemon that will hatch from it are often taken from the female Pokemon parent. This is only different when both Pokemon are the same specie which will then be randomized.
