What is the Nursery? - Bring Ditto!

The Pokemon Nursery is the Galar Region's version of the Daycare that's been present in most if not all Pokemon games. Here you can leave behind your Pokemon to breed eggs. Pokemon at Nursery will not get EXP.

Leave 2 Pokemon With Same Species
By leaving 2 Pokemon with same egg group with different gender, you can get an egg of the female Pokemon.
Leave Pokemons from the Same Egg Groups
Pokemon have specific Egg Groups they belong in. This dictate which Pokemon they can breed & produce an egg with. For example, Wailord & Skitty are able to have an egg.

Ditto is the only Pokemon that can breed with almost any other Pokemon regardless of type, egg group, and gender. The only limit are Legendary Pokemon who often cannot be bred.

2 Nurseries In SWSH
There are two nurseries in the Galar region. One in Route 5 and the other in Bridge Field of the Wild Area. You'll gain access to the first Nursery after beating Grass Type Gym Leader Milo.
