Conditions That Impair Pokemon's Ability To Fight
Status effects that are inflicted on a Pokemon will greatly inhibit their ability to battle. These can restrict their movement & even take their HP down slowly over time.

Status effects are mainly cured by using items that you can purchase from the Pokemon Center's grocery. Make sure to always have some in your Bag in case of emergencies.
Some Status Effects Stay After Battle
Be careful with some status conditions inflicted on your Pokemon such as Poison, etc. These usually stay after battle and you'll still need to use items or cure your Pokemon in the Pokemon Center to get rid of them.
