How To Hyper Train Pokemon

Hyper Train At The Battle Tower

Hyper Train at the Battle Tower

You will be able to Hyper Train your Pokemon at the Battle Tower. Talk to the man on the counter to the right, then choose which Pokemon you want to Hyper Train.

Pokemon Must Be Level 100 To Hyper Train

Keep in mind that your Pokemon must be level 100 in order to be eligible for Hyper Training. If your Pokemon is not yet level 100, bring up their level by battling, using candies, or any other leveling method!

Bottle Caps Needed For Hyper Training

Bottlecaps Needed For Hyper Training

Aside from being Lv. 100, Bottle Caps or Gold Bottle Caps are needed for hyper training. Bottle Caps can be bought with 25 BP from the BP vendor in Battle Tower, or as rewards for higher tier victories.

Hyper Training will allow you to max out the IVs of your Pokemon! Individual Values or IVs further improve a specific stat of a Pokemon and make them stronger!

Check IVs Using the Judge Function

Check IVs Using the Judge Function

You can check a Pokemon's IVs by using the Judge Function at the Rotomi. This function is unlocked once you reach the Poke Ball Tier in the Battle Tower.

Cannot Hyper Train Pokemon With Perfect IVs

You will not be able to hyper train Pokemon that already have the "Best" stats for all of their IVs. When a Pokemon has perfect IVs, you can then choose to EV train them instead!

Recommended For Pokemon You Cannot Breed

Hyper Training is recommended for Pokemon that you cannot breed, such as the legendaries. However, hyper training is also a viable way of getting good IVs without breeding your Pokemon!

Hyper Trained IVs Will Not Be Passed Down

The best IVs you get with Hyper Training will not be passed down to the egg. You need to use other methods if you want to breed.
