What Are TRs?
Items That Teach Your Pokemon Moves
TRs are used to teach your Pokemon a specific move. The moves a Pokemon can learn are limited by its species, but TRs will allow you them to use moves they cannot learn from just leveling up.
They Cannot Be Reused
Unlike TMs, TRs in Pokemon Sword and Shield cannot be reused! When teaching a Pokemon a particular move, the item will be destroyed. Remember to think whether the Pokemon learning the move will be worth it!

TRs may drop when you catch Pokemon from a Max Raid Battle. TRs tend to be dropped based on the Pokemon you catch but not always, meaning you may get random TRs from Max Raid Battles.
