Field Will Have Toxic Spikes
Klara will lay down the move Toxic Spikes at the beginning of the battle. This poisons any Pokemon that switches out into battle. Make sure to bring Antidote to heal your Pokemon!
Klara Will Dynamax Slowbro
When Klara brings out her Galarian Slowbro, she will Dynamax it. Make sure to Dynamax Pokemon with Ground, Ghost, or Dark-type attacks to defeat her Dynamax Galarian Slowbro!

Sets Up A Weird Battlefield
Avery will set up Psychic Terrain immediately when battle starts. The main effects of this are that Psychic moves deal more damage, and that priority moves won't work! Be careful.
Also Dynamaxes Slowbro
Just like Klara, Avery will Dynamax his Galarian Slowbro. If you have brought a Dark or Ghost type Pokemon, you should be able to handle it easily. Just be careful if using a Ground type, as it knows a Water move!

Mustard Will Give You Kubfu
After all the cutscenes finish and you're back in the Master Dojo, Mustard will give you the new Pokemon, Kubfu! Your next goal is to raise your friendship & make Kubfu a strong partner!

After receiving Kubfu, you'll also unlock the Pokemon Following function. This means that Pokemon you have at the head of your party will follow you out in the overworld!
