Who Is The Move Reminder?

Remember Moves Your Pokemon Knew

Move Reminder

The Move Reminder can be found in every Pokemon Center in Galar. His main function is to teach your Pokemon moves they've forgotten. This means that you don't have to worry too much when choosing moves to overwrite.

Experiment Freely With Moves

Gone are the days of worrying obsessively about what moves to replace when leveling. This new option encourages experimentation with movesets!

Get Moves Pokemon Don't Learn While Leveling Up

Many Pokemon have several moves which you can't get by simply leveling up. These moves can go unnoticed, but they are often extremely strong offensive moves.

Example: Drednaw

Move Reminder Drednaw

For example, a Drednaw, which from Chewtle at Lv. 22, will know Bite from Lv. 7, but will never learn Crunch while leveling up. However, if you go to the Move Reminder, you can learn Crunch for free. Crunch is 20 points stronger than Bite! The same is true for Razor Shell.

Recommended Pokemon To Bring

Prioritize Pokemon Evolved By Using A Stone

Generally speaking, Pokemon that evolve using an evolutionary stone will have many moves they can learn from the Move Reminder. Bring them as soon as you evolve them!

Pokemon With Strong Reminder Moves

The following Pokemon can be obtained relatively early on in the game & can learn extremely powerful moves early on. Please note that some of them require trading or a special stone in order to evolve.
