What Pokemon Should You Bring?

Bring A Dark Type

All of Allister's Pokemon are weak to Ghost-type moves, and all but Mimikyu are weak to the Dark type. However, since Ghost is super effective against Ghost, Dark might be your best bet here!

Uses Dynamax On Gengar

Allister uses Dynamax on Gengar in your battle. When he does, make sure to also Dynamax a Dark, Ground, or Psychic Pokemon to counter his heavy Ghost-type hits.

Risky To Bring Ghost Pokemon

Even if Allister's party is mostly prone to Ghost Type moves, it's best to keep them on the bench. Your Ghost Pokemon can easily fall to Allister's Ghost moves as well.

Use Steel Pokemon Against Mimikyu

Mimikyu is the only Pokemon in Allister's party that doesn't have a Dark Type weakness. Bring a Steel Type Pokemon to counter its strengths & exploit its weakness.
