Assault Vest - Locations
Pick Up Near Tree In Lake Of Outrage
You'll be able to pick up the Assault Vest by the lone tree in the Wild Area's Lake of Outrage. You can find it overlooking the entrance to Hammerlocke. You need the Water Bike to get to the Lake of Outrage.

You will get a Water Bike upgrade when you complete your 6th badge in Pokemon Sword and Shield. You'll get this from the guy bullied by Team Yell at the start of Route 9.

The Assault Vest can be purchased in the BP Shop in Wyndon's Battle Tower BP Shop for 25 BP. You can buy as much as you want so long as you have the BP for it.

Increases Pokemon's Sp. Def
When held by a Pokemon, the Assault Vest will raise that specific Pokemon's Sp. Def, making it useful against Pokemon battles. However, it does limit its movements by locking out status effect moves.
Limits Status Effect Moves
A Pokemon that is holding an Assault Vest will limit its moves, especially those that inflict status effects. This item is best for Pokemon that don't have any status-type moves.
