- Talk to Detective Fuzzy in the lower left of Fuzzy Village
- Gather Umbral Butterflies and Flowers of the Knight at Crimson Castle
- Talk to Detective Fuzzy in the lower left of Fuzzy Village again
Talk to Detective Fuzzy in the lower left of Fuzzy Village to accept this side story.
The item listed as "Night Flower" in the quest conditions is actually named "Flower of the Knight" in your inventory. Be careful not to overlook it or search for the wrong item name, as this will slow down your progress.

Gathering Umbral Butterflies and Flowers of the Knight (Night Flower) is the requirement for this step. Since Umbral Butterflies mostly appear at Crimson Castle, if you can't enter, level up first before proceeding.
This is an example of a spot where Umbral Butterflies can be found at Crimson Castle. Using bonfire warps, and picking up Flowers of the Knight whenever you spot them along the way will help you progress smoothly.
Even if you've only finished gathering Umbral Butterflies, it's fine to head back to Fuzzy Village. You can gather plenty of Flowers of the Knight there alone.
Once you've finished gathering Umbral Butterflies, head back to the lower left of Fuzzy Village where you accepted the quest. Once you finish the conversation, the quest will be complete.
