"Ghost Racer" Quest Guide - How to Unlock

To start NTE's "Ghost Racer" quest, talk to the shop owner "Sota" inside Natsunari Tofu in Miguel District. Pick "Business is booming, huh?" during the conversation to accept the quest.

If you're far from Miguel District, teleporting to Beyond the Rails will cut your travel time.

After accepting the quest, talk to the "God Racer's Fan" in front of the shop, then talk to "Sota" again.

After talking to Sota, get in his car and head to "Food First."

Once you arrive at "Food First," talk to the staff member "Xanthium."

Return to Natsunari Tofu and head inside with Sota. Eat the Fried Tofu sitting on the counter to advance the quest.

Continue your conversation with Sota inside the shop, and Sota will leave for a race. Wait outside the shop until the screen transitions.

While waiting, just leave the game idle without doing anything.

Once the screen transitions, talk to the shop owner who has returned to the shop.

Once the conversation ends, get in the car again and follow the quest markers to the mountain entrance.

Once you arrive at the mountain entrance, get out of the car and talk to "Bai Yang." Pick "Let's go." during the conversation to head to the race start screen.

Make a habit of slowing down with the brake. Using the handbrake makes you more vulnerable to weather and car performance, making it easier for opponents to overtake you.

When taking curves, try to stick to the inside line. This minimizes your travel distance.

After winning the race, follow the quest markers, talk to Bai Yang, and say your goodbyes.

Once your conversation with Bai Yang ends, head back to the tofu shop and eat the tofu.

Next, wait until the in-game time becomes 10:00–18:00 the next day. Tracking the quest will automatically advance the time.

After advancing the time, track the quest and check your messages (chat). Continuing the conversation with the tofu shop in the chat will advance the story.

Next, head to Natsunari Tofu and check the inside of the shop, then the back entrance, in that order. Knocking on the door will bring out Sota — go talk to him.

Check your messages and chat with Mint.

Once you finish your conversation with Mint, head to the convenience store and talk to the staff. Pick "I'd like to buy champagne." in the dialogue and buy the "Reims Sparkling Wine" champagne.

Once you've bought the champagne, return to Natsunari Tofu, talk to Sota, and pick "I'm back.".

Wait until late at night (1:00–4:00 AM the next day). Tracking the story will automatically advance the time.

Once it's late at night, head to the mountain entrance and check Mint's message.

After checking Mint's message, you'll be sent to the race start screen. Win the 1v1 race against the ghost car, "Don't Let Me Stop!"

After winning the race against the ghost, return to the tofu shop and talk to Sota. Once the conversation ends, the quest is cleared.
