  1. Go to the Gold Apple Collection Hall
  2. Examine the Anomaly Exhibit "Lamp"
  3. Talk to Tungsten
  4. Follow the quest markers

NTE's "Lights On" quest can be picked up by talking to Iris at the Gold Apple Collection Hall.

Where to Accept "Lights On"

The pickup location, the Gold Apple Collection Hall, is in the New Herland District. It's marked on the map with the yellow museum icon, so set it as your tracked destination and head over.

Examine the Anomaly Exhibit "Lamp"
Examine the Anomaly Exhibit Lamp

Once you've talked to Iris and accepted the quest, examine the Anomaly Exhibit "Lamp." From the list of Anomaly Exhibits, select "Miles Apart" to enter the story.

Talk to Tungsten
Talk to Tungsten

Once you enter the story, the map automatically transitions. Talk to Tungsten standing right in front of you.

Follow the Quest Markers
Follow the quest markers

After your conversation with Tungsten ends, follow the quest markers forward.

Talk to the Girl on the Swing
Talk to the girl on the swing

Continue along the quest marker and you'll come across a girl sitting on a swing. Walk up to her and start a conversation.

Once you finish talking with the girl, follow the quest markers again.

Talk to the Construction Worker in the Yard
Talk to the construction worker in the yard

Once you reach the house, switch worlds — "T" key on keyboard, LB on controller — and talk to the construction worker in the yard.

Use T or LB to Switch to the Alternate World
Use the T key to switch to the alternate world

During the "Lights On" quest, you can switch to an alternate world with the "T" key on keyboard or the LB button on controller. Paths and objects that aren't visible in the normal world can appear there, so try switching whenever you get stuck.

Talk to Patty
Talk to Patty

After your conversation with the construction worker ends, talk to Patty in the open area in front of the house.

Head to the Park
Head to the park

Once you finish talking with Patty, follow the quest marker to the park.

Approach the Playground Equipment to Advance the Story
Approach the playground equipment to advance the story

Once you're at the park, walk up to the playground equipment in this order — Slide → Exercise Equipment → Rocking Chair → Swing — to advance the story.

Talk to Patty at the Florist
Talk to Patty at the florist

When you walk up to the final "Swing," a cutscene plays. After it ends, talk to Patty in front of the florist behind the park.

Buy a Rose
Buy a rose

Enter the florist and buy the "Wild Rose" you can see in the back right. After the purchase, exit the shop and the story progresses, automatically moving you to Patty's house.

After the cutscene at Patty's house, switch to the alternate world and talk to the girl in the living room.

After talking with the girl, you need to gather the four items required for the puzzle. The locations of each are listed below.

1. In the alternate world, go up the stairs and grab the key from the "Dirty Clothes" in the bathroom of the room straight ahead
2. In the normal world, unlock the bookshelf with the key to obtain it

1. In the alternate world, go up the stairs, head right, and pick up the "Damaged Red Teddy Bear" in the room on the left
2. Repair it using the Household Toolbox in the normal world's living room

1. Pick up the "Cake Recipe" stuck on the refrigerator in the alternate world's kitchen

1. In the alternate world, go up the stairs, head right, and pick up the "Paint Can" on the floor of the room on the right
2. Give the "Paint Can" to Patty in the normal world
Hand Over the Correct Item in the Memory Rooms
Hand over the correct item in the memory rooms

Once you've gathered all four items, go up the stairs and check the "Letter" on the left. Reading the letter opens up the path to the memory rooms.

There are four doors at the edges of the memory room, each leading to a separate room where you submit one of your collected items (Children's Picture Book, Teddy Bear, Recipe, Paint). Visit every room and hand over the matching item.

Enter the Door and Defeat the "Enemies of the Past"
Enter the door and defeat the enemies of the past

Once you've handed over all the items, a door appears. Go through it and defeat a total of 6 "Enemies of the Past" (2 enemies × 3 stages). The Enemies of the Past are Lv22, and the recommended character level is around 20.

After the battle, talk to the girl to receive the "Burnt Hair Clip."

Give the "Burnt Hair Clip" to Patty
Give the Burnt Hair Clip to Patty

Switch back to the normal world and give the "Burnt Hair Clip" to Patty in the living room.

Go to the Storage Room on the Second Floor

After the conversation with Patty, head to the storage room on the second floor.

Talk to the Girl in the Alternate World's Storage Room

Switch back to the normal world and talk to Patty — a cutscene plays.

Pick "Goodbye." to End

When the dialogue options appear in your conversation with Tungsten, choose "Goodbye." to clear the quest.
