Pawn Moonlight Walkthrough Chart
- Talk to Adler at Eibon
- Follow Taygedo to Moby-Dick Bookstore
- Return to Eibon
- Head to the Perfumer's house and search inside
- Gather information at Sterry Express
- Go to the Manga Artist's house
- Return to Eibon and head to Green Wall Slope
- Open doors and proceed while watching for falls
- Push deeper while opening doors
- Defeat Morphix
To start NTE's Pawn Moonlight, you first need to talk to Adler at Eibon. Set the quest tracker and head to the destination.
If you're not near Eibon, teleporting via the ReroRero Phone Booth saves a lot of time. This applies beyond Pawn Moonlight—make active use of it whenever you need to access Eibon.
Follow Taygedo and head to Moby-Dick Bookstore.
After the cutscene, follow the quest marker back to Eibon. A cutscene plays automatically when you arrive.
Head to the Perfumer's house and search inside. Items to inspect are marked in pink, so follow the markers.
Head to Sterry Express. A cutscene plays on arrival, and you'll get information from Jiuyuan.
Take a vehicle to the Manga Artist's house. While the quest is being tracked, the route to the destination is shown with yellow arrows when you're in a vehicle—just follow the arrows.
Return to Eibon first, then head to Green Wall Slope. When you arrive, a door appears that leads into Pawn Moonlight, so go inside and continue.
Once inside Pawn Moonlight, follow the path until you reach a stage where you warp through doors. Falling off the stage forces a restart from the beginning, so watch your footing and proceed slowly and carefully.
Watch out for the purple rotating floor. You won't usually be thrown off by standing on it, but the rotation flips left/right and makes controls awkward.

Once you reach the end of the space, keep opening warehouse doors and push deeper. A total of 6 Black Husks appear along the way, so defeat them as you advance.
The doors have gold marks on them. Use these marks as landmarks and push toward the deepest area.
Reaching the deepest area starts the fight with Morphix. Morphix has 3 phases, and defeating it completes the Pawn Moonlight quest.

Morphix is the boss monster of the first Spinoff Quest, "Pawn Moonlight." The boss is Level 20, so as long as your active character is also at Level 20, you can clear this fight even with subpar gear.

Morphix mainly uses claw swipes and lunge attacks. Its lunge attack from mid-air in particular leaves a big opening after you dodge, giving you a perfect chance to counterattack.
Mix Dodges and Counters Into Your Rotation
Counters and well-timed dodges set you up for smooth offensive combos. Watch the boss's attack animations carefully and respond calmly.

When Phase 2 begins, the stage briefly changes and Morphix unleashes a barrage of flying discs. You can knock the incoming discs back with melee attacks to deal damage to Morphix.
Focus on Dodging Melee Attacks
Timing a counter on the melee attacks that follow the discs is tricky. Until you get used to it, don't force the counter — focus on dodging for safety.

Morphix's Phase 3 plays largely the same as Phase 1, but the boss's combo attacks come in longer chains. If you keep attacking through one of these combos, you'll take heavy damage before you realize it — make sure to dodge first, then commit to your offense.
