October 27 Update Summary

We've made the complete Pokemon Unite Version 1.7.1.9 Patch Notes with numbers for the October 27, 2022 Balance Patch! This update came with new Shop, Event and Bug Fixes updates plus balance changes for multiple Pokemon including text changes.

May 16th Update Summary

Espeon can now be taken into battle in the Unite Arena with its latest arrival along with this May 16 Balance Patch Update. Get to use Espeon's psychic abilities and blasts enemies through the lanes. Although there are no other updates aside from Espeon's Release date, there's a chance that there will be some balance changes on the next maintenance.

April 28th Update Summary

It was announced that there will be another server maintenance on April 28th in line with the end of the Ranked and Battle Pass Season. There can be some new balance changes with other Pokemon and new features to be added during this time, so stay tuned for the updates!

April 8 Update Summary New!

It looks like an Easter Bunny has just hopped into Unite's Battle Arena in time for the Spring Season! Get ready to wet your enemies because Azumarill is here to splash you with its watery moves. Aside from Azumarill's release, there are no other updates and fixes that occurred for April 8th. It is possible that some changes may be announced in the future, so we'll keep you updated in our April 8 Patch Notes guide linked below!

March 28 Update Summary

A new update came on March 28 via the Pokemon Unite Version 1.4.1.10 Patch! This update came with balance changes on some Pokemon including Duraludon, as well as Bug Fixes, Text Fixes and Spec Changes. Check out the March 28 Patch Notes article for the full details.

March 15 Update

Several changes have been made to some Pokemon and Boss Pokemon in order to balance the Unite Battle. Check out the specific modifications to each Pokemon down below!

Major Fixes On Feb 24

There has been a major update on February 24th fixing some issues with Pokemon including Aegislash and Decidueye's moves. There were also some adjustments with the various maps such as Auroma Park, Shivre City, & Mer Stadium.

February 11 Update

A new character has come to Pokemon Unite this February 11: Aegislash! With its shield and sword in tow, it's looking to be both able to defend itself and strike quite powerfully at any foe that dares to fight it. Along with this Pokemon's release are most likely some balance changes to some Pokemon, as well as some in-game updates.

January 26 Update Summary

There are some minor changes for Pokemon Unite Version 1.4.1.3 Patch Notes for the January 26 Balance Patch! This update came with bug and text fixes.

January 20 Update

The new January update came with bug fixes, spec changes, text fixes, and shop updates. Aside from the newest addition of Trevenant's Unite License, there have also been several changes to Pokemon & Battle Items currently in the game. December 20th Update

The newest update on December 20 came with bug fixes, spec changes, and text fixes. In addition, the update also came with adjustments to the Matchmaking system, Dragonite's Unite License, Battle Pass Season 4, and updates to the shop with a variety of Pokemon Skins & Trainer Skins!

November 19 Update

Decidueye has finally joined the Pokemon Unite roster this November 19, 2021! You can now exchange your Aeos gems and coins in the Battle Committee to get its Unite License.

No Balance Changes During Decidueye Release

There's no information about the balance changes occurred after Decidueye's Release on November 19th Patch. Although there are some changes that may happen in the near future that will be announced on their official website.

November 16 Balance Patch

October 8th Patch

An emergency patch was put out on October 6, purely to apply some significant nerfs to two of Sylveon's abilities. Sylveon was released two days prior and was dominating many games, so much so that two of its main moves were nerfed about 20-30%.

Sludge Bomb
Description: Hurls unsanitary sludge to the designated area, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect, leaving them poisoned and decreasing their movement speed and Sp. Def for a short time. Changes - Range increased.
Solar Beam
Description: Blasts a bundled beam of light, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect. Changes - Cooldown reduced from 10s to 6s
Petal Dance
Description: Scatters petals around the user, increasing movement speed for a short time and dealing damage over time to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect. Changes - Effects on the user weakened.
Verdant Anger
Description: Launches a giant seed toward the designated area. The seed then splits apart, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect and decreasing their movement speed for a short time. Changes - Area of effect has been adjusted.

Starlight Recital
Description: Has the user begin performing a recital, granting itself and nearby ally Pokémon a shield as well as removing all status conditions from the affected Pokémon and making them immune to hindrances for a short time. Changes - Duration of the effects on the user has been decreased.

Spark
Description: Has the user leap at an opposing Pokemon while electricity charged, dealing damage to them. If the user uses its basic attack before reaching it's target Pokemon, the user will instead leap at the closest opposing Pokemon dealing damage to it. This move can be used three times before it goes on cooldown. Changes - Damage dealt to an opposing opponent has been decreased from 4584 to 1230 (About 73.1%)
Wild Charge
Description: Has the user charge in the designated direction. If this move hits an opposing Pokemon, the user unleashes a combo attack that also deals a set amount of damage to itself. If the user hits an opposing Pokemon with Volt Switch, Spark, or a boosted attack before using this move, the number of attacks in this combo is increased. Changes - Bug Fix

Psyshock
Description: Attacks the designated location three times. This move's cooldown is reduced each time one of these attacks hits an opposing Pokemon. Changes - Damage dealt to an opponent has been decreased from 4632 to 3918 (About 15.4%).
Future Sight
Description: Sets a delayed explosion. When the explosion hits an opposing Pokemon, it reduces this move's cooldown. Changes - Bug Fix
Moonblast
Description: Has the user attack while moving back to create distance. When the move's blast hits, it deals damage to opposing Pokemon in a cone and leaves the opposing Pokemon closest to the user unable to act for a short time. Changes - Move Cooldown has been increased.

Leaf Tornado
Description: Attacks with a tornado of sharp leaves, leaving a path in its wake that increases ally Pokemon's movement speed for a short time. Changes - Damage dealt to opposing opponent has been decreased from 1215 to 1034 (About 15%)
Cotton Spore
Description: Gathers spores around the user, increasing the user's movement speed while this move is in effect. The spores burst after a short time, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect, throwing them, and decreasing their movement speed for a short time. Changes - Cooldown has been reduced from 7.5 to 6 - Duration of effects on opposing opponent has been increased.

Basic Attack
Description: Becomes a boosted attack with every third attack. When this boosted attack hits, it deals damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect and decreases their movement speed for a short time. Changes - Damage to opposing opponent has been increased.

Triple Axel
Description: Has the user spin-kick three times in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon. The damage dealt increases each time a kick hits, and basic attack speed is increased for a short time after this move ends by an amount based on the number of landed kicks. Queenly Majesty Effect: Restores HP each time a kick hits. Changes - Damage has been decreased.

Scald
Description: Shoots boiling water, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon and creating steam when it hits. Opposing Pokemon inside the steam's area of effect are left burned and have their movement speed decreased for a short time. Changes - Damage has been increased from 1809 to 2163 (About 19%)
Amnesia
Description: Allows the user to nullify some damage before it takes effect. For a short time after using this move, the user becomes immune to hindrances and gains increased Defense. This move also increases the damage dealt by the next use of Scald or Surf. Changes - Amnesia+ has been upgraded with increased Sp. Def.
Oblivious
Description: When the Pokemon receives damage, the HP loss is gradual. When damaging an opposing Pokemon with a move, the Pokemon nullifies some of this pending damage before it takes effect, and it also decreases the opposing Pokemon's Sp. Def for a short time. Changes - Stats have been increased.

Leafage
Description: Pelts the target with leaves, decreasing the movement speed of opposing Pokemon for a short time when it hits. Changes - Damage has been increased from 372 to 428 (About 15%).
Spirit Shackle
Description: Charges power before firing quills in the designated direction. Damage dealt by quills increases the longer power is charged, but movement speed is decreased while charging. If this move hits after power is charged to the maximum, it can stitch the opposing Pokémon’s shadow to the ground. The affected Pokémon receives damage upon moving a set distance from that location, and its movement speed is decreased for a short time. Changes - Cooldown has been reduced from 9s to 6s
Leaf Storm
Description: Creates a tempest of sharp leaves, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon it hits and decreasing their movement speed for a short time. At point-blank range, it also shoves opposing Pokémon it hits. Changes - Cooldown has been reduced from 8s to 6s - Range Increased & Damage has been increased from 605 to 740 (About 23%).

Blaze Kick
Description: Has the user perform a fiery flying kick. This move is always a critical hit, and it shoves opposing Pokemon and leaves them burned for a short time. In addition, the user becomes immune to hindrance while using this move. Changes - Blaze Kick+ damage has been increased
Feint
Description: Has the user dash in an arc, attacking opposing Pokemon they come in contact with. This move ignores the Defense stat and shield effects of opposing Pokemon. Changes - Cooldown has been reduced from 13s to 11s

Thunder Shock
Description: Releases electricity, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect. Also paralyzes opposing Pokemon for a short time Changes - Damage has been increased from 481 to 519 (About 8%)
Volt Tackle
Description: Has the user electrify itself and charge ahead, throwing opposing Pokemon Changes - Damage has been increased from 1480 to 1575 (About 6%)
Thunderstorm
Description: Attacks opposing Pokemon near the user with tremendous bolts of lightning Changes - Unite Move charge rate has increased.

Hyper Voice
Description: Unleash an attack of multiple sound waves that deal damage when they hit. The damage they deal increases the farther the target is from the user. Every time a sound wave hits, the next sound wave's damage increases. Changes - Bug Fix

Basic Attack
Changes - Bug fix on the boosted attack movement speed has been decreased.
Double Team
Description: Quickly moves the user away from the current position, creating illusory copies of them to aid in battle. Changes - Damage dealt to opposing Pokemon has decreased.
Water Shuriken
Description: Throws shurikens made of water in quick succession. Decreases the movement speed of opposing Pokemon for a short time and restores the user's HP when it hits. Also increases the user's movement speed while using this move. Changes - Cooldown increased from 5s to 6s
Waterburst Shuriken
Description: Has the user throw a giant water shuriken toward the designated area, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect and decreasing their movement speed for a short time when this Unite Move hits. The water shuriken then immediately explodes, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect once again and throwing them. Once this Unite Move ends, the user may jump in a designated direction. Changes - Cooldown decreased & bug fix on movement speed decrease.

Power-Up Punch
Description: Charges power before unleashing a powerful attack. While the user is charging power, its movement speed is decreased but its Attack slowly increases and the damage it receives is reduced. The user then charges in the designated direction and releases this move, dealing more damage the lower the opposing Pokémon's remaining HP is and making its own next basic attack a boosted attack if the move hits. This move's cooldown is reduced every time one of the user's moves hits. Changes - Damage has been decreased from 2710 to 2054 (About 24%)
Steadfast
Description When the Pokemon is at low HP, it is granted a shield and its movement speed is increased. Changes - Stats have been decreased!

Covet

Description: Has the user run with all its might, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon it hits and throwing them. While running, the user drops Berries from its body. If the user eats a dropped Berry, its movement speed is increased for a short time. The more Berries the user eats, the more its movement speed is increased. In addition, Belch or Bullet Seed can also be used while the user is running. Changes - Cooldown increased from 9s to 10s

Discharge
Description: Releases an electrical discharge, dealing damage to nearby opposing Pokemon and granting the user a shield when it hits. If this move hits opposing Pokemon that are paralyzed, it pulls them in towards the user once the move ends, dealing damage to them once again and leaving them unable to act. Changes - Damage has been decreased from 3608 to 3024 (About 16%)
Spark
Description: Has the user leap at an opposing Pokemon while electricity charged, dealing damage to them. If the user uses its basic attack before reaching it's target Pokemon, the user will instead leap at the closest opposing Pokemon dealing damage to it. This move can be used three times before it goes on cooldown. Changes - Bug fix: Controls adjusted.
Wild Charge
Description: Has the user charge in the designated direction. If this move hits an opposing Pokemon, the user unleashes a combo attack that also deals a set amount of damage to itself. If the user hits an opposing Pokemon with Volt Switch, Spark, or a boosted attack before using this move, the number of attacks in this combo is increased. Changes - Bug fix.
Plasma Gale
Description: Unleashes a blast of lightning, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect and throwing them. This also creates a zone of plasma that increases the user's basic attack range and dealt while the user is inside the zone. Changes - Damage has been decreased from 2819 to 1979 (About 29%))

Aerial Ace

Cheek Pouch

Covet
Description Has the user run with all its might, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon it hits and throwing them. While running, the user drops Berries from its body. If the user eats a dropped Berry, its movement speed is increased for a short time. The more Berries the user eats, the more its movement speed is increased. In addition, Belch or Bullet Seed can also be used while the user is running. Changes - Fixed a bug that enables the use of Belch more often than intended while using Covet. (Basically a nerf.)
Stuff Cheeks
Description Has the user drop several Berries, which can be eaten to recover HP. Any HP recovered that exceeds the user's max HP will be converted to a shield effect. Berry Belly Flop
Description Has the user eat a Berry to recover HP and then leap to the designated area, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect and throwing them. The user then eats a special Berry, allowing it to stash an unlimited amount of Berries in its tail for a short time and resetting the cooldown of all its moves. Changes - The bug that occurred while using the Launch Pad was fixed.

Greedent received a major update on the November 10th Patch that decreased its moves' effect significantly. Although having major nerfs, using Greedent is still effective as a Defender-Type Pokemon.

Blizzard
Description Summons a howling blizzard in two blasts in front of the user. The first blast deals damage to opposing Pokémon in the area of effect and decreases their movement speed for a short time. The second blast deals damage to opposing Pokémon in the area of effect and shoves them. If the second blast hits an obstacle, it also deals damage to opposing Pokémon near the point of impact. Changes - Cooldown has been reduced from 11 to 9 seconds. - Damage dealt to opposing Pokémon increased by roughly 32%.

Alolan Ninetales received a buff on the November 10th patch with Blizzard's decreased cooldown and damage increase. There are some changes to the Alolan Ninetales's Sp. Attack damage, which can be lethal in the match.

Psychic
Description After hitting an opposing Pokemon or traveling its maximum distance, deals damage over time to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect and decreases their movement speed for a short time. Changes - The move's effect has been strengthened. - Cooldown has been reduced from 7 to 6 seconds.

Gardevoir received minor move changes on the November 10th update in which its Psychic effects have strengthened & its cooldown reduced

Fairy Frolic
Description Has the user jump into the air and briefly become invincible. The moment the user lands, it deals damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect and restores its own HP. For a short time afterward, a set percentage of damage dealt by the user is converted into HP for the user. Changes - Fixed a bug where the HP recovery effect won't activate even if you use 1 Move after using Unite.

Sylveon's Unite Move, Fairy Frolic, received a bug fix this November 10th patch. It resolved the issue of its HP recovery effects that were not taking effect on some instances, even after using the move.

Thunder
Description Drops wicked thunderbolts, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect. Changes - Bug wherein the Thunder move did not activate when Thunderbolt, Thunder, and Normal Attack were used in that order was fixed.

Update on the November 10th patch included a bug fix on Pikachu's Thunder move. Users can now activate it without a hitch, even when Thunderbolt is used before this move and followed by a normal attack.

Rough Skin
Description When taking melee damage, deals a portion of the damage back to its attacker. Changes - Fixed a bug that deals more damage than expected when receiving Zeraora's Wild Charge.

Based on the November 10th Patch, Garchomp got a bug fix on its passive, Rough Skin, where its attack deals more damage than usual when hit by Zeraora's Wild Charge.
