What Are Battle Items?

Provides Temporary Unique Effects

Battle Items provide unique effects that can be activated during matches. These effects vary from restoring a Pokemon's HP to decreasing goal casting time.

Battle Items Have A Cooldown

Battle Items are active abilities and thus have a cooldown. You can't spam them, so knowing when is the right time to use them is a must for any player.

Can Only Have 1 Equipped

In contrast to Held Items, you can only have one Battle Item equipped per game! This will be an important point of any build so remember to select one before starting a match.

Not Upgradable

Unlike Held Items, Battle Items can not be upgraded. There's also no way of lowering their cooldown.

Unlocked By Increasing Trainer Level

Unlocked By Increasing Trainer Level

Battle Items can be unlocked simply by increasing your Trainer Level. In order to increase your Trainer Level, you'll need to keep playing games to earn Battle Points.

Pokemon unite 8/18 Update

The latest patch has announced the changes made for Slow Smoke. Mainly weakening the item's effects and increasing the cooldown of Slow Smoke.
