Zoroark's Recommended Held Items

Best Held Items For Attacker-Type Pokemon

Mainly Focus On DMG

Attackers are the main source of damage for the team, but are somewhat limited when it comes to other stats. They also often require the support and assistance of other teammates to effectively do what they need to do.

Can Be Weak Against Ambush

Attackers rarely have high mobility & are vulnerable when ambushed, especially when the enemy Pokemon has access to crowd control. Attackers should have good map awareness and know when to bail to avoid getting taken down.

Best Held Items For Defender-Type Pokemon

Pokemon With Tons Of HP & Defense

Defenders are bulky Pokemon with a high endurance stat that allows them to take a substantial beating. They can bear the heavier attacks of tough Wild Pokemon, and can secure precious seconds for the team to set up an attack during teamfights.

Good At Stopping Enemies From Scoring

Defenders can sometimes hold a lane alone & prevent their opponents from scoring through harassment & crowd control. Strategic placement on the part of a defender can sometimes force opponents into the dilemma of wasting precious resources by trying to fight off an opponent that was designed to take damage.

Best Held Items For Speedster-Type Pokemon

A Speedy Assassin

Speedsters take on the assassin / jungler role, often moving independently for the chance to steal enemy Wild Pokemon or harass lone enemy Pokemon. They come with a very high attack & speed to move around easily, but are vulnerable if cornered.

Vital To Get Strong In The Current Meta

Speedsters, if fed correctly, can be one of the most powerful Pokemon in the game (particularly Absol and Talonflame). It may be prudent to try to feed your Speedster, while doing all you can to harass the enemy team to avoid having their Speedster become unstoppable.

Best Held Items For All-Rounder Pokemon

Have A Multipurpose Role

All-Rounder Pokemon can act as an Attacker or Defender depending on which type is needed in the match. They can deal decent damage and take a beating at the same time. They are also flexible and can adjust quickly depending on which will be needed in each situation.

Best Held Items For Supporter-Type Pokemon

Pokemon That Help Other Pokemon

Supporters are Pokemon that assist other Pokemon by buffing them, healing them or causing debuffs & disruptions on the enemy team. They function more effectively when paired with other teammates to complete certain tasks that might be impossible alone.

Come With Some Crowd Control

Supporter Moves can heal / buff allies while some can debuff / push enemies, or otherwise affect the playing field (like Mr. Mime's Barrier). Knowing the characteristics of these moves is paramount to effectively support your allies.

Which Held Item To Upgrade

Use Item Enhancers To Upgrade Held Items

You can upgrade your Held Items by using Item Enhancers which can be purchased in the Shop. You will need 10 Aeos Tickets to purchase one Item Enhancer. Note that you can now also use a Super Item Enhancer to instantly upgrade an item to level 30 (the max). These are very limited in number, however.

Items Used For Upgrades

Can Be Upgraded Up To Level 30

Held Items are upgradable up until level 30. The higher the level, the more Item Enhancers will be required. Since you are limited on how many Item Enhancers you can get, it’ll be important to choose which items you prioritize leveling. You may check the guide below for tips on which Held Item to prioritize!

Which Held Item To Upgrade

You may upgrade the Held Items based on which type of Pokemon you use. You may upgrade Held Items that increase Attack & Speed if you will prioritize Attacker Pokemon or held items that raise Defense if you will focus on Defender Pokemon. Try to choose which items you prioritize intelligently!

Focus On Certain Threshholds

Note that your held items will gain a notable boost to their effect at levels 10 and 20. These are two very important Thresholds that you should try to reach as soon as possible.
