Glaceon Strategy Guide

Glaceon Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths
Run Away & Snow Cloak passive enables it to be affected by hindrances.
Can dash with Icy Wind which it has use to pursue fleeing enemies or dodge incoming attacks.
Icicle Spear enables Glaceon to barrage enemies with Ice Crystals which can be increased by Glacial Stage.
Weaknesses
Can only target single opponents so it may struggle when faced with multiple Pokemon at once.
Its damage over time is not at par with its other Eevolution counterparts.
Can't do much damage without its Ice Crystals so you need to prioritize generating them first before getting all-out offensive.

Recommended Lanes

The number of ★ shows the level on a particular route area.

LaneRoute Details
TopTop Recommendation level: ★★★
The top path is less likely to encounter early battles than the lower route. Go to the top route if you wish to improve Eevee's level steadily. Once it reaches level 4, you may take use of its improved fighting abilities. In your early stages, concentrate on getting the last hits while playing safely from a distance.
MiddleMiddleRecommendation level: ★ ・ ・
If you take control of the mid lane, Eevee will almost certainly achieve level 6 by the first battle against Drednaw. Glaceon's early game performance on the other hand is better used in battle rather than relying on Jungling. You can assign this area to more agile Pokemon who can travel it easier and shift to either main lanes when necessary.
BottomBottomRecommendation level: ★★★
Glaceon has an extremely strong fighting abilities after level 4, allowing it to carry the team in most bottom lane clashes. This is the best option to take since you can swiftly KO Audinos with moves like Icicle Spear or Icy Wind, allowing you to quickly unlock Glaceon's movesets.

Eevee (Lv 1~) Strategy

Pick Tail Whip First

Choose Swift to enhance Eevee's attack so you may be able to knock out Aipoms to level up quickly and unlock Tail Whip which you can use to deal Sure Hit damage that you will definitely need during the early stages of the game.

Focus On Leveling

You should concentrate on increasing your level to unlock Glaceon's damage-dealing moveset by acquiring as many Wild Pokemon spawns as possible so that you can evolve and improve your moves as soon as possible.

Get Behind Your Allies During Team Battles

Eevee does not have enough adequate moves that can help it sustain battles longer and is quite squishy due to its low endurance so its best to take cover during clashes especially when you haven't upgraded your moves. Glaceon is a ranged attacker so make use of it to dish out enemies at the backlines while staying safe.

Glaceon (Lv 4~) Strategy

Get Aggressive With Icicle Spear!

You can burst down single-targets with Icicle Spear Icicle as this move's ice crystals increase the damage over time each time they hit the same opponent Pokemon.

Dash Through The Lanes With Icy Wind

This is a dash-type move you can use to get Glaceon in and out of battles early. It does not provide that much damage compared to Icicle Spear but the extra movement you can do with it can be used to dodge incoming attacks

Moves Get More Powerful From Lv4 Onward

When you reach level 4, your original two offensive moves will be upgraded to more powerful versions. Your second move will happen one level later, at level 6. This is your main power spike, therefore you'll want to get there as soon as possible so you can help your squad.

Glaceon (Lv 6~) Strategy

Adapt Your Build To Your Attack Style

At level 6, you'll have the option of using Ice Shard or Freeze-Dry. Freeze-Dry let you dash towards opponents, giving Glaceon more pursue potential. Likewise it can also be used to dodge incoming attacks. Ice Shard is a safer option because its boosts just deliver greater damage. Consider altering your second move based on whatever one you choose here.

Ice Shard
Lv 7: Ice ShardIce Shard
Increases the user movement speed for a short time. Afterward, the user's basic attack speed increases for a short time, and its basic attacks change into attacks that hurl chunks of ice. These chunks of ice deal damage to opposing Pokémon they hit and decrease their movement speed for a short time. Each time a chunk of ice hits, the user gains 2 ice crystals. The user gains 2 ice crystals if this move is used while launching ice crystals with Icicle Spear, or if it's used after Icy Wind has been used but before the user has launched all of its ice crystals with its next basic attack.
Cooldown 7 seconds
Freeze-Dry
Lv 7: Freeze-DryFreeze-Dry
Increases the user's Sp. Atk for a short time and has the user shoot out a freezing burst of air in a forward direction. The burst of air explodes upon hitting an opposing Pokemon or after traveling a set distance, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect. For each opposing Pokemon hit by the explosion, the user gains 2 ice crystals. The explosion also leaves behind an ice zone. Opposing Pokemon that enter this ice zone will have their movement speed decreased. If they remain in the ice zone for a set amount of time, they become frozen for a short time.
Cooldown 8 seconds

Unite Move: Glacial Stage

Glaceon can use Glacial Stage to generate ice crystals faster. While inside the zone, using Icy Wind or Icicle Spear will instantly replenish each crystal and cause the move to continue shooting shards!
