Things To Keep In Mind

Avoid Engaging As Much As Possible

Avoid Engaging

When you're losing, there's likely a difference not only in the score but also the level of your Pokemon. If you challenge your opponent to a battle, you will be KO'd one way or another and the gap will widen further, so whenever possible to try to refrain from fighting with enemy Pokemon!

Here Are 9 Things Not To Do & Mistakes You Should Avoid

Protect The Goal Area

If there is a level difference between you and your opponent, it is recommended that you only protect the goal area while you communicate with your allies & keep your opponents in check. In any case, avoid getting KO'd while defending.

Raise Your Level

Raise Your Level

When you're in a tough battle, there's often a big difference in level between your Pokémon and your opponent's Pokémon. Your best bet at this point will be to defeat Wild Pokemon and raise your level. Prioritize this above all else!

What To Do At The 5 To 3 Minutes Mark

Only Aim For The Final Hit On Rotom

Only Aim For The Final Blow On Rotom

Attempting to go for Rotom can easily lead to a fight with your opponents. It might be better to try to hide in the nearby grass and only aim for the last hit when the opponent has reduced Rotom's HP.

Steal The Drednaw Last Hit

The Bottom Path

The same can be said for Drednaw. Fighting the enemy team head on when you're at a level disadvantage might be unwise, so instead try to hang around the area (hidden in the grass or otherwise) and try to snipe the last hit.

What To Do At The 3 To 2 Minutes Mark

Collect Aeos Energy Until You Cap Out

Collect Aeos Energy Until Your Possession Limit

The easiest way to turn the tables around when you're losing is make use of the double score earned during the last 2 minutes. To do this, you'll want to ensure that you have a large amount of Aeos points stored up for when this happens.

Maximum Aeos Energy For Each Level

Level Cap
12-1550
9~1140
1~830

What To Do At The 2 Minutes Mark

Split Up And Score

Attempt A Goal By Aiming Both Top & Bottom At The Same Time

During the remaining 2 minutes, your points earned when scoring are doubled. You can either split up your team and target both top and bottom at the same time, or you can go together and target one goal area to force a successful goal to turn things around.

Knock Out Zapdos

Knockout Zapdos
Appearance Time2:00
Effects
All Pokémon on your team receive +20 Aeos Energy
All goals on the opposing team are defenseless for 20 seconds, allowing you to score instantly
When Zapdos is KO'ed, lightning strikes the place where the KO'd Pokémon was. Pokémon hit by the lightning will be unable to move for a while.

As you enter the last remaining minutes of the match, Zapdos will appear in the Legendary Pit. The effects of the Zapdos are tremendous - if you're able to take it out, there's a good chance you can turn the match around and win. Just be careful not to let your opponent get the final blow!
