Pokemon Unite's Premium Currency
Aeos Gems are Pokemon Unite's only premium currency. It can be used to buy different items from the shop, including the Battle Pass, Pokemon Unite Licenses, Pokemon Skins, and Trainer Skins.
Can Only Be Bought With Real Money
So far, the only way to get Aeos Gems is by purchasing them with real money from the Aeos Gem Purchase menu. There is no way to farm them for free.

Use To Buy Pokemon Unite License
Prioritize unlocking new playable Pokemon by purchasing their Unite Licenses from the shop using Gems. Once you get their Unite Licenses, you can then use them as your Pokemon in matches.

▲ You can get Venusaur for free by just getting to Trainer Level 5.
These Pokemon can be unlocked without needing to purchase them. Save your Gems and unlock them by completing events, clearing their conditions, or using Aeos Coins to purchase them.

Gems can also be used to purchase Skins for your Pokemon. Since these have no gameplay advantages and is purely cosmetic, this should be low on your list to purchase.
