Offline Mode - Overview
Play Standard Match Without Internet (Android, iOS, & Switch)
Offline mode allows players to enjoy 5 vs 5 matches without having to connect to the internet! This feature is perfect for players who don't have access to online modes but still want to practice their skills.
All License And Items Can Be Used
In offline mode, players have access to all of the game's Pokemon and items. With all Held Items at Lvl 20, this is ideal for players who want to get a feel for which Pokemon to buy next and which build to use.
All Battle Items Can Be Used
You can also experiment with Battle Items as you can access them all in offline mode, even if you haven't attained the trainer level required to unlock them.
Match Results Does Not Apply In Battle Record
Playing in offline mode will not give you any rewards like Aeos Coins after every match, which is usually available in online matches even on CPU Match - Standard Battles. The match results do not also reflect in your battle record when you decide to go online again.
Tutorial & Hint Alerts Are On
During your gameplay, you'll receive message prompts that give hints for you to take some course of action like farm exp points or score goals when you are harboring too many points. You'll also notice that there are pop-ups when interacting on team objectives indicating their purposes like HP recovery for ally goal zones.
Multiplayer Mode Not Available
Unfortunately, there's no option to play multiplayer in offline mode as there are no means to connect 2 or more devices aside from using the internet (LAN or Wi-Fi).
Can Only Play CPU Matches
Although players can play offline, they can only play against CPU. You cannot play this feature with or against your friends.

Can Be Played Once Pokemon Unite Is Downloaded
Players can play Offline Mode once you have downloaded Pokemon Unite to your Nintendo Switch or mobile device. It can also be played by accessing them on the Title Screen.

Players can access the game by selecting Offline Mode for the mobile device or by pressing the X button for Nintendo Switch users.
Appears When There's No Connection
When the user does not have an internet connection, a prompt will appear asking the players to reconnect or to play in offline mode.
Connect Online First If Offline Mode Doesn't Appear
The prompt to switch to offline mode may not show to some users. If this happens, try updating your game to the latest version or connect first and then select Offline Mode option from the title screen.
APK & IPA Files Are Not Recommended
It's not recommended to use APK & IPA files to download Pokemon Unite as there can be issues concerning the use of third-party files. Players can download Pokemon Unite on their mobile device's Official Market (Google Play or Apple App Store).
