Play Against Bots In CPU Match

Play Against Bots In CPU Match

Want to learn the game without the pressure of playing with a group of other people? Play in a CPU Match, where all your enemies will be bots! These enemies will play a random set of Pokemon against your team.

Select From The Unite Battle Menu

To be able to play a CPU Match, you will need to select the "CPU Match" option from the Unite Battle drop down menu. This can only be done when playing Standard or Quick Battles.

Play CPU Matches Offline

Title Screen

Players can now play against CPU offline by selecting Offline Mode for the mobile device or by pressing the X button for Nintendo Switch users when in the Title Screen.

How To Unlock

Unlocked After Completing Tutorial

After completing the 2 required tutorial matches, players will have access to the Unite Battle menu. From here, they can select the type of match and enemies they go up against.

Can Only Be Done In Standard & Quick Matches

It's not possible to select CPU or bots as your opponents when playing ranked matches. The option is only available for Standard & Quick match types.

Bot Matches In Ranked

Occurs When Player Is On Losing Streak

Ranked Lose

Although there's no option to battle CPU in Ranked Matches, there are circumstances where players may face bots. This most likely occurs when players in ranked matches are on a losing streak for certain times.

Check The Opponents Trainer Card

Check The Opponents Trainer Card

You can check the appearance of the trainer by flipping over each trainer card on the loading screen right before the game starts. Bots strike the default pose and have the same yellow background.

Aside from the trainer card's appearance, players also won't be able to check the Bots' Trainer Info after the match as they were set to private.
