The Legacy Trainer Showdown is a limited event in which you can play against trainers from different generations. You can only play the Legacy Trainer challenge in Standard Battles and not in Ranked Matches or Quick Battles. Take note that you won't be able to participate when you don't check the option, Take up the Trainer's challenge, at the bottom right of the lobby screen.

Buy Trainer Battle Tickets At Aeos Emporium

You cannot participate in the Legacy Trainer Challenge if you don't have a Trainer battle ticket. You can get one free Trainer battle ticket every day when you log in after 9:00 AM. Once you consume it, you will beed to purchase one at Aeos Emporium for 200 Aeos Coins to continue participating in the event.

You will earn Trainer Battle Coins when you participate in the Legacy Trainer Showdown and clear the missions. Trainer Battle Coins can be exchanged for limited items at the Trainer Battle Exchange during the event. Items include Leon's limited trainer fashion, poses, and backgrounds.

Fast Way To Collect Trainer Battle Coins

Use The Daily Free Trainer Battle Tickets

You will only have 2 Trainer Battle Tickets for free after 9 AM everyday. Make sure to consume these free tickets every day as after that you will need to purchase Trainer Battle Challenge Tickets for 200 Aeos Coins in the Aeos Emporium to further participate in the challenge to increase your chances of completing missions.

Don't Use Tickets When The Daily Limit Exceeds 25

There is a daily limit of 25 Trainer Battle Coins. You can check how many coins you have earned today at the bottom right of the event screen. Don't try using the Trainer Battle Challenge Ticket on the day you reach the daily limit to avoid wasting them.

Take The Challenge With Friends

Keep in mind that the team leader's Trainer Battle Tickets are the ones that are only consumed when doing the challenge as a team. Form a team with your friends and change the team leader if you run out of tickets to continue doing the challenge to efficiently collect Trainer Battle Coins.

How To Unlock Each Challenge Difficulty Levels

Difficulty Increases With Each Win

There are 4 levels of difficulty for the Intrusion Trainer Battle: Casual, Intermediate, Expert, and Extreme. The challenge begins at the casual level; if you succeed, you unlock the intermediate level, and this goes so on until you unlock the Extreme level, where the difficulty is at its highest. Depending on the level of difficulty, the opposing team's composition changes as well as the rewards.
