How To See Team Score / Points

Do Not Overextend

Announcement 2minutes

If you are on the lead, try to capture your opponents' Wild Pokemon in their area to gain EXP and slow their EXP gain. This will give you an advantage for the final stretch of the match. Also, try to avoid fighting Zapdos solo as you opponents may steal it and turn the tables against your team.

Defeat Zapdos If Losing

Struggling To Keep Up

In a losing battle, you can make a last ditch effort and get Zapdos. This may force the enemy team to respond in force, giving you a chance to wipe them out, get Zapdos, and get good goals. Since you're already losing, go full-on offensive with your team and try to score goals as much as you can.

Return Grass

3. Move With Allies

Move with allies

During an ambush, the team that has a larger number of Pokemon has the advantage in that fight. Try to check your map and mini-map thoroughly before going to an area and only fight if you have the higher number of allies!

Map Guide - Types & Objectives

Retreat If Outnumbered

Fight disadvantage

Retreat without fighting back if your team is outnumbered. Even the number of opposing teams is the same as the number of your allies, it is possible that other opposing Pokemon will roam to your area and start to participate in the ambush.

4. Make Good Use Of Your Time

There are other things you can do during the match if there's no wild Pokemon nearby. You can check out if there are any opponents defending their goal or scout and hide in grasses to check what the other team is doing.

Do Not Fight In Enemy Goal Zones

Goal Zones heal the team and provide a shield when in the goal. So it's not advisable to attack your opponents if they are in the goal zone as they can use the goal's heal to defeat you and your allies.

5. Retreat If At A Disadvantage

KO Time
KO time is greatly increased during the latter stages of a fight

It's important to fight alongside your allies but always remember that there are winnable fights and unwinnable ones. For example, if one ally is surrounded by four opponents, there is a high possibility that not only the ally but also the player who helped will be KO'd. Being defeated by the opposing team is not worth it, so try to retreat if it is impossible to fight back!
