What Are Super Item Enhancers?

Used To Upgrade Items To Level 30

Super Item Enhancer

Super Item Enhancers are a powered up version of regular Item Enhancers. They will allow you to upgrade one item all the way up to level 30! This will provide you with a massive in-game advantage, so it's important to avail yourself of these important items!

Since these special item enhancers are so few in number, it will be absolutely crucial to choose what item you upgrade! Make sure to get items which are the best for the type of Pokemon you plan to use!

Only Able To Upgrade Held Items

Super Item Enhancers can only upgrade Held Items - they will not have any effect on Battle Items!

Refunds All Previously Spent Item Enhancers

A key feature of the Super Item Enhancer is that it will give you back all the Item Enhancers you spent on an item. This means that you don't have to worry about potentially wasting resources by upgrading a level 20 item! Simply choose the item which you think you'll use the most and upgrade it.

Get From Events

RequirementReach Trainer Level 10, 12, and 14 respectively

Currently, it seems the only way to obtain these special items is from Events. There are only 3 obtainable via events presently, but it is possible that more will be added in the future. You can obtain these simply be leveling up your Trainer Level.

Which Held Items Should I Upgrade First?

Held Items To Prioritize Upgrading

Held ItemsReason
Muscle BandMuscle BandFor physical damage dealing Attacker and Speedster Pokemon that rely on auto attacks, the Muscle Band is a must. The attack speed bonus is extremely beneficial for a wide variety of Pokemon.
Focus BandFocus BandThis item can be used by basically any Pokemon, due to the excellent defensive stats it provides. The healing portion of it will likely help you stay alive in many cases!
Wise GlassesWise GlassesThis held item is recommended for Special Attackers only! This is a simple overall DPS increase that you can't go without.
Buddy BarrierBuddy BarrierThis item will provide you with HP as well as a powerful shield every time you use your Unite Move. In fact, the shield will also be applied to a nearby ally as well! This item is incredible and can be used on almost any Pokemon, not just Defenders & Supporters!

The above are some items that you can't go wrong with upgrading! It will be crucial to know if your Pokemon uses Physical or Special Attack, however, so make sure to confirm that before upgrading.
