Low-Rarity Team

MainAnimaLakshanaInstant Cycle
ShinkuShinkuMintMintSkiaSkiaEsper ZeroEsper Zero

This is a low-rarity team built around Shinku as the main character, aiming to trigger Charge. Since you'll want to keep Shinku as your controlled character to maximize damage output, she can also be used purely as an Esper Cycle trigger.

Basic Playstyle

OrderPlaystyle

Build up Defiant Spirit with Shinku to prepare to activate her Ultimate

Trigger Esper Cycle with Mint to activate Blossom, then activate her Redirect Skill and Ultimate before switching to Esper Zero

After activating Esper Zero's Ultimate and Redirect Skill, use Instant Cycle to switch to Skia

Switch to Skia and activate "Remora" + "Charge", then switch to Shinku (activating her Ultimate can also trigger the Speedy Hedgehog buff)

Use Shinku's Ultimate and play in Rampage Form

Swap Candidates

CharacterNotes
JiuyuanJiuyuanSwap with Mint
- Can contribute to battle even while benched
- Generating 2 Vita Bud makes it easy to gain buffs

Shinku - How To Play & Rotations

Basic Playstyle

  • Gain Defiant Spirit from various attacks
  • Gain Fading Reason after activating her Ultimate
  • Use the move that unlocks a set time after activating her Ultimate

Gain Defiant Spirit from Various Attacks

Shinku's Basic Attacks and Redirect Skill grant Defiant Spirit, which is needed to activate her Ultimate. Unlike normal characters, gaining Ultimate Energy alone will not let you activate her Ultimate.

About Menacing Gaze

NTE Image

If Shinku doesn't attack while on the field, Menacing Gaze builds up, and each stack adds bonus damage to her first attack. If you've unlocked the Ascension Effect Sunset Beach, Menacing Gaze will build up even while Shinku is benched, making it easier to make effective use of.

Gain Fading Reason After Activating Her Ultimate

After activating her Ultimate and transitioning into Surging Crimson, Basic Attacks can gain "Fading Reason". Accumulating Fading Reason lets you use her Redirect Skill, so try to activate it as many times as possible within the time limit.

Use the Move That Unlocks from Activating Her Ultimate

Just before Surging Crimson ends, the Ultimate button becomes usable for a Dash Attack. The Dash Attack's available uses depend on how many times you used her Redirect Skill during Surging Crimson; once you use up all its charges, or when Surging Crimson ends, a wide-area attack triggers automatically and she returns to her normal state.
