This is a Mid-Game Guide for NTE (Neverness to Everness)! Below are things you should do in the mid-game, such as raising your Tycoon Level and the best uses for City Stamina!

Table of Contents

Beginner's Early Game Guide

Mid-to-Late Game Goals

    • Raise Hunter Level and Clear Ch.3
    • Raise Tycoon Level and Use Stamina
    • Optimize Character Lineup

Raise Hunter Level and Clear Ch.3

The top priority in the mid-game is to clear Episode Quest Chapter 3. To do this, you need to reach Hunter Level 14, which requires daily use of Stamina and Exploration.

Raise Tycoon Level and Use Stamina

After unlocking Hethereau Hobbies, use City Stamina to earn Fons (money). The maximum Stamina and available content expand as you increase your Tycoon Level, so it's a good idea to use up your Stamina while progressing through the tutorial quests.

Optimize Character Lineup

Use the Gacha Stones obtained from quests, events, and Exploration to pull from the gacha, then build a team and train the characters you get. However, since you can't obtain S-Rank Consoles and Modules until you reach Hunter Level 30, there's no need to farm for perfect ones yet.

Progress Story & Unlock Content

Reach Hunter Level 14 and Chapter 3

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - The Never-ending Arachne

After clearing Episode Quest Chapter 1, which is the early-game goal, and unlocking Daily Quests and various stamina-consuming content, aim to clear Episode Quest Chapter 3. The required Hunter Level to attempt Chapter 3 is a relatively low 14, which can be reached by completing dailies and Exploration.

Complete Quests and Commissions

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Quest Screen

By completing Side Quests, Spinoff Quests, and Anomaly Commissions during city Exploration, you can earn Hunter Level EXP. If you're short on EXP to progress the main story, clear these various quests to level up. It's also efficient to collect Oracle Stones at the same time.

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Weekly Boss Entrance

Clearing Chapter 3 unlocks the Auction in the New Herland District area and the weekly boss The Never-ending Arachne. At the Auction, you can bid on items, and you can also obtain valuable items like the Gluttonous Eye, which allows you to earn Fons weekly.

Don't Rush from Day 1

You can quickly reach the point of clearing Episode Quest Chapter 3 by diligently completing Exploration and quests, but since the content unlocked is a weekly task, there's no need to push yourself to get it done on the first day.

Next Chapter Unlocks Much Later

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Hunter Level 24

After clearing Episode Quest Chapter 3, the next chapter, Chapter 4, unlocks at Hunter Level 24. It becomes difficult to reach this level through Exploration alone, so level up slowly while completing your daily quests.

Purchase the Novis ST-X 950

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Novis ST-X 950

You can get an Electric Scooter in the prologue, but its speed of 40km/h is a bit lacking. At the Regalia Vehicle Dealership, a motorcycle that can reach speeds of about 130km/h is sold for 250,000 Fons, and purchasing it will make travel much more comfortable. When you have some spare Fons, it's a good idea to buy it.

The Cafe by Origen, which unlocks at Tycoon Level 4, is content where you manage a 9°C Coffee to earn Fons. Revenue gradually increases with real-time progression, and the more you earn, the more the shop grows, so it's efficient to unlock and develop it early.

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Pink Paws Safe

You can earn Fons by using your weekly City Stamina, entering the Anomaly Zone: Realm of Greed at your home, and opening Safes found in the field during Exploration. Safes, in particular, are a one-time-only source but provide a large amount of Fons, making them recommended for earning Fons to raise your Tycoon Level.

How to Earn Fons Fast

Unlock Heists at Tycoon Level 10

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Pink Paws Heist Requirement

By raising your Tycoon Level to 10, you will unlock Pink Paws Heist, which allows you to earn a large amount of Fons without consuming City Stamina. After unlocking it, you'll be able to collect Fons more efficiently.

It's best to prioritize City Delivery until you have maxed out the level of your Anomaly Furniture.

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Selling Fish

Sea Angling, which unlocks at Tycoon Level 3, is also recommended and can be done at locations with fishing spot symbols. By selling the fish you catch at the Fish Market or Fish Hold, you can spend City Stamina to get Fons and Scale Coins, which can be exchanged for exclusive items.

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Auto Mahjong

If you want to finish automatically, playing auto-mahjong with NPCs is also a good option. Although it takes time to consume stamina per game, you can finish using your stamina just by setting up auto-play for each match.

Mid-Game Character Building

Build Around Obtained Characters

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Nanally Banner

Use the Annuliths and various Gacha Stones you've acquired to build a well-synergized team around the S-Rank characters you've obtained. If you want to progress with your favorite characters, you can clear content without any issues using a team centered around them.

Best Team Builds and Compositions

Get Standard S-Ranks Through Selection

After 50 pulls on the standard gacha, you can choose and exchange for one S-Rank character in the Standard Board event. Even if you haven't directly obtained an S-Rank character from the gacha by the mid-game, you can reliably get one powerful S-Rank character, so it's recommended to choose one with your future team composition in mind.

Note!If you started playing during Ver. 1.0, you can obtain an additional character from a limited-time distribution.

Best Free S-Class Characters to Pick

Enhance Attackers and Their Arcs

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Formation

Once you've decided on a team, focus on leveling up and enhancing the Arc (weapon) of your main attacker. If you have spare materials, it's also a good idea to enhance your supporters and their skills in parallel.

Character Progression Guide

Obtain and Train S-Rank Arcs (Weapons)

You can obtain Arcs (weapons) of the highest rank, S-Rank, from Exploration, Anomaly Commissions, and other sources. When training Arcs, it is recommended to prioritize S-Rank ones that have good synergy with your characters.

Farm for Consoles and Modules Later

You can obtain S-Rank Consoles from Rabbit Hole Difficulty III, which unlocks at Hunter Level 30 and beyond. Therefore, you should start farming for perfect ones after reaching Hunter Level 30.

Use What You Already Have

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Cartridge

It's recommended to equip and level up the Consoles and Modules you already possess for training purposes. You can also fully recover the original materials by dismantling Consoles and Modules you no longer use.

Note!If you use an enhanced Console/Module directly as enhancement material, you will lose some of the EXP invested. Be sure to dismantle them for materials instead.
