Sea Angler - How to Fish and Fishing Locations

Welcome to the complete Sea Angler fishing guide for NEVERNESS to EVERNESS (NTE). This guide covers every fishing spot, the fish available at each location, how to unlock the fishing system, and upcoming features like the fish tank!

New Feature: Fish Tanks (Ver.1.2)

Raise Fish in Your Home

Starting in the Ver.1.2 update, players will be able to raise the fish they catch! To do this, you must purchase a fish tank from the furniture store and place it in your player housing.

Environmental Adjustments

To successfully raise fish, you must create a comfortable environment for them. This requires selecting "Saltwater" or "Freshwater," adjusting the water temperature and pH, and determining if the species does well on its own or in a community. The game also offers convenient "Automatic Temperature Control," "Water Regulation", and "Automatic Feeding" features.

Fish Display Feature in Ver. 1.2

Display Fish on Your Vehicle's Rear

Starting in Ver. 1.2, you can display the fish you catch on your Vehicle's Rear. To use this feature, you'll need to catch displayable fish and modify your Vehicle.

Catch a Displayable Fish

Not every fish you catch can be displayed. You can check which fish are eligible in the "Fish Hold."

Modify Your Vehicle

Visit a Modification Shop in Hethereau to install a Rear Tow Hook that allows fish to be displayed. Keep in mind that only certain Vehicles are compatible with Rear Tow Hook installation.

Select a Fish from the Garage

After modifying your Vehicle, open the Garage and choose a caught fish from the Rear Ornament section to display it.

How to Unlock & Play Sea Angler

Unlocking the Fishing System

To unlock the Sea Angler mini-game, open your Menu > City Tycoon > Hethereau Hobbies, select "Sea Angler," and follow the navigation to any fishing spot. Completing the short tutorial will reward you with Fishing Rod I and 20 Universal Bait.

How to Fish and Tips

1	Approach a Fishing Spot and select Fishing.
2	On the preparation screen, choose your fishing rod and bait.
3	Enter the fishing screen and tap the hook icon in the bottom-right corner. (From this screen, you can also access Bait Exchange and the Sea Angler Menu.)
4	Once a fish bites, tap the hook icon in the bottom-right corner.
5	Reel the fish in by moving the cursor in sync with the bar. The key is to keep the cursor as close to the center of the bar as possible.
6	Catch the fish by reducing its stamina gauge in the upper-left corner to 0.

Selling Fish at the Fish Hold

You can sell your caught fish via the Sea Angler Menu's "Fish Hold." Selling fish consumes City Stamina (1 Stamina per fish) but rewards you with Scale Coins and 1,000 Fons per Stamina spent.

Lock Fish in the "Fish Hold"

Caught fish have a limited survival time based on their rarity and will disappear once that time expires. You can lock fish you want to keep, but keep in mind that you can only lock around 30 fish at a time.

Sell Fish for Higher Prices at the Fish Market

You can submit the daily featured fish through the Fishing Menu > Fish Market. These fish sell for significantly higher prices, ranging from +200% to +500% of their normal selling value. You can also access the Fish Market directly from the fishing icon on the map.

Improve Fishing with Chaos's Skills

Chaos has Life Skills that benefit Sea Angler activities. These skills increase the number of fish that can be sold at premium prices and permanently reduce fish stamina, making fishing much more efficient.

Fishing Levels & Rewards

Level Up by Earning Fishing EXP

Increase your Fishing Level by earning Fishing EXP. You gain Fishing EXP each time you successfully catch a fish, and the amount earned varies depending on the fish's rarity and size.

Fish Sizes Come in Three Grades: B, A, and S

Fish are classified into three size grades: B, A, and S. Larger fish are closer to S rank and reward higher selling prices as well as more Fishing EXP. Keep in mind that using a higher-performance Fishing Rod makes it easier to catch larger fish.

Earn Annulith and Expansion Core

Increasing your Fishing Level rewards you with Annulith and Expansion Core. Fishing is a great way to make use of your City Stamina while earning extra rewards.

Reach Fishing Level 10 to Get an Outfit

Once you reach Fishing Level 10, you'll unlock an Outfit for Esper Zero (MC). You can preview its appearance by tapping the magnifying glass icon next to "Graffiti in Progress."

How to Get Fishing Bait

Can Purchase on the Fishing Screen

You can purchase fishing gear at Fishing Spots using Scale Coins. Access the Tackle Shop through the Tackle Shop button on the fishing preparation screen, the pre-fishing screen, or by selecting bait you don't own and choosing Purchase.

Also Available at Luna Bay

You can also purchase fishing gear at Luna Bay in Hethereau. The available items are the same as those sold at Fishing Spots.
