Mighty Rillaboom Counter Pokemon
[For Solo] Corviknight Without Getting Weakness Attacked

HP | ATK | DEF | SP ATK | SP DEF | SPD | ||
Base Stats | 98 | 87 | 105 | 53 | 85 | 67 | |
EV | 28 | 0 | 252 | 0 | 0 | 228 |
Corviknight can suppress most of the moves used by the Mighty Rillaboom with little damage, making it a prime candidate for soloing the Mighty Rillaboom raid.
▶Corviknight Build For Tera RaidTera Type Should Be Fighting
Since it is difficult to break through the opponent's barrier except with a Fighting type, try to make Corviknight's Tera type Fighting in order to solo defeat it.
Spread EV To Speed And You Can Act First
If you set the Nature to Impish and spread 228 EV to speed, you will be able to act ahead of the Mighty Rillaboom. It is recommended to spread EV to speed rather than HP, as using Iron Defense first will give you more stability.
Recommended Moveset
Solo Strategy Procedure
1 | Use Iron Defense twice to reduce the damage of the opponent's Low Kick. |
---|---|
2 | Before the opponent puts up a shield, use the Screech to lower it's defense. |
3 | Use the Body Press three times and be ready to Terastal at any time. |
4 | Your buffs are reset and the opponent uses Growth and Boomburst. |
5 | Prioritize using the Iron Defense three times again rather than recovering HP. |
6 | Use the Roost to restore HP to near full. |
7 | Terastallizing to the Fighting type, then followed by a series of Body Press. |
Recovering HP before Terastallizing
After Terastallizing, you will be large damaged by the opponent's Acrobatics. So you should use Roost to bring your HP to near full before Terastallizing, since you want to hit Body Press repeatedly and take out the opponent in one fell swoop.

Don't Join The Raid With Koraidon
- The user's body grows all at once, raising the Attack and Sp. Atk stats.
The Mighty Rillaboom uses Growth at the beginning of the battle. Growth has the effect of doubling the increase in stats when used in sunny weather. Therefore, if you let Koraidon, whose abilities make the weather sunny, participate, opponent's stats will increase significantly, and the raid become more difficult to complete.
Tips On When Participating Unrivaled Raids
Challenge With Level 100 Pokemon
7★ Raids are very powerful so it is recommended to have a Pokemon that is Level 100 to participate. Even on the Official it has been posted, [It is very hard to defeat by 1 Trainer]. So be prepared by leveling up your Pokemon.
▶How To Level Up Fast - EXP Farming[Caution] Most Past Unrivaled Bosses Are Not Useful
All the Pokemon that has been caught in the 7 star raids are all starting Level 100, but they do not have any useful skills to participate in an Unrivaled Raid. Especially in Multi-Player, it is disliked so if you are planning to use it, then use in Solo battles.
Use The Appropriate Raid Pokemon
Compared to 5★-6 raids, you can not win by just consecutively attacking with Koraidon's "Collision Course" and Miraidon's "Electro Drift". Make sure you research the opponent's abilities and choose a Pokemon that is your advantage.
7★ Raid Bosses Are About 25 Times Normal HP
This guide is created as an assumption it can be defeated with a One Shot. This article is not made with throughtout precise measurements.
7★ Raid Bosses HP is 25 times a regular Pokemon raid. For example, if the Pokemon that is in the Raid Boss has a regular HP of 300, then in a 7 star raid, it is estimated to have about 7,500 HP. Due to this you will not be able to defeat it with a Pokemon with low attack power and run out of time.
Other Powers Are The Same
Other than HP (ATK/DEF/SP ATK/SP DEF/SPD), the other status does not range differently. You especially want to learn the SPD, because you will have an advantage if you choose a move that has a faster reaction than your opponent.

Mighty Rillaboom Moveset
The Mighty Rillaboom uses the above four moves. Note that if you try to attack the opponent's weakness with a Fighting-type Pokemon, you will receive heavy damage from the opponent's "Acrobatics".
It Uses Growth First
- The user's body grows all at once, raising the ATK and SP ATK stats.
The Mighty Rillaboom will use Growth first. Be careful because it raises the ATK and SP ATK of the opponent.
It Uses Bulk Up In The Middle Of The Battle
- The user tenses its muscles to bulk up its body, raising both its ATK and DEF stats.
In addition to Growth, Rillaboom also uses Bulk Up. Since the opponent's defense is raised, it is easy to take a long time when trying to defeat it with physical moves.
It May Use Boomburst
- The user attacks everything around it with the destructive power with a terrible, explosive sound.
The Mighty Rillaboom may use a Boomburst in the middle of the battle. Since it does not use it often, try to withstand one shot.
Hidden Ability: Grassy Surge
- Grassy SurgeWhen put out in battle, turns the field into "Grassy Terrain". If on the ground, every turn it can heal max HP of 1/16. Grass type will increase 1.3 times. "Earthquake","Bulldoze", "Magnitude" will be decreased by half.
This Ability will increase the Grass move power greatly so be careful.
