How To Get Mints
Purchased at Chansey Supply for $ 20,000
Get from 5 star raids or more
Pick up from a glowing red Monster Ball

Recommended To Buy At Chansey Supply

Mints will be available at Chansey Supply for $ 20,000 if you get 6 or more Gym Badges. This is the recommended and most efficient method because as long as you have the money, you can change the Nature of a specific Pokemon you want than having to do raid battles or rerolling through hatching.

Mints Effects & How To Get

Mints Can Be Used At Any Time

When Mints are used, they are immediately changed to the corresponding Nature's ability. Therefore, it is the same whether you use it at level 1 or level 100, so you can use it whenever you like.

Stat Disadvantage Can Be Fixed But Nature Will Stay The Same

Mints only change the stats, but not the Nature itself. Remember to refer to the original Nature when it comes to Berry use and when breeding.

Nature Affects Stats

Images of Nature Correction List and Summary of Nature Change Methods

Pokemon's Attack is easily increased by 1.1 times depending on its Nature, and its Special Attack can be increased by 0.9 times. Pokemon that mainly focus on Physical Attacks can be more powerful if they have a Nature that focuses on Attack.

If You Just Want To Progress Through The Story, No Need To Worry About It

The way the status increases for each Nature is not really that valuable when you just want to focus on the story. This element is mainly used for competitive gameplay, wherein a slight difference can cause you to either win or lose.

How To Select Nature

Catch Them Until You Get The Nature You Want

A Pokemon's Nature cannot be identified until you have catched and checked it. Therefore, if there is a Nature you want, you must keep catching the same Pokemon you want specifically. However, its Nature can be changed with Mints, so you don't need to spend too much time rerolling because it only changes the taste of Berries.

Take Note That Some Pokemon Can Only Be Caught Once

Pokemon that can only be obtained once, such as Lesser Legendary Pokemon, will not reappear when caught. Therefore, when rerolling, make sure to save immediately before rerolling so you can reroll again if the desired Nature or Individual Value is not obtained.

Lesser Legendary Pokemon List

Synchronize Does Not Apply

In past titles, if a Pokemon with the Synchronize ability was placed at the top of the party, the Pokemon it encounters will appear with the same Nature as the Pokemon with Synchronize. Nature selection by Synchronize has been discontinued in this title, so it is not possible anymore to do so.

How To Inherit Nature
