Pokemon's Attack is easily increased by 1.1 times depending on its Nature, and its Special Attack can be increased by 0.9 times. Pokemon that mainly focus on Physical Attacks can be more powerful if they have a Nature that focuses on Attack.

If You Just Want To Progress Through The Story, No Need To Worry About It

The way the status increases for each Nature is not really that valuable when you just want to focus on the story. This element is mainly used for competitive gameplay, wherein a slight difference can cause you to either win or lose.

How To Get Mints
Chansey Supply Shop for 20,000 Pokedollars
Reward from 5 Stars or more Raid
Pick up from the flowing red ball

Recommended To Buy From The Chansey Supply Shop

Once you have 6 Gym Badges, Mints will be sold at the Chansey Supply Shop for 20,000 Pokedollars each. As long as you have the money, you can get enough Mint to fix the disadvantages of your POkemon's Nature. This is better than going for Raids or through breeding.

Stat Disadvantage Can Be Fixed, But Nature Will Stay The Same

Mints only change the stats, but not the Nature itself. Remember to refer to the original Nature when it comes to Berry use and when breeding.

When a Parent Pokemon holds an Everstone when it creates an egg, the Nature of the Pokemon is inherited by its offspring. It can be purchased at Delibird Presents Shop, and should be held as much as possible when carefully breeding.

Synchronize Does Not Apply

In past titles, if a Pokemon with the Synchronize ability was placed at the top of the party, the Pokemon it encounters will appear with the same Nature as the Pokemon with Synchronize. Nature selection by 'Synchronize' has been discontinued in this title, so it is not possible anymore to do so.
