Snowflakes are used to reveal images of Pokemon & Trainers in the Photo Challenge which can garner rewards. You can get Snowflakes by participating in Standard Battle, Quick Battle, Ranked Match, and Snowball Battle in Shivre City.

Participate In Any Matches
You can get Snowflakes by participating in any match type in the game. Take note that some matches provide 30 Snowflakes like Ranked Matches and Snowball Battle in Shivre City while Standard and the rest of the Quick Battle modes provide only 20 Snowflakes.

Snowball Battle In Shivre City Gives Snowflakes Faster
Snowball Battle in Shivre City is the ideal match type to collect snowflakes faster. This event-limited Quick Battle gives 30 Snowflakes, which is higher than other Quick Matches.
How To Use Snowflakes
Access The Photo Challenge On The Events
You can access the Photo Challenge Event by selecting "Events" ➝ "Photo Challenge" to see the event info and rewards. You can also see the total Snowflakes gained, the Snowflakes limit, and the rewards in this section.
Collect Enough Snowflakes To Use Them
If you have collected enough Snowflakes, you can claim the rewards by selecting "Use" on the bottom right of the Photo Challenge Event.

Snowflakes Increases When Reward Is Claimed
Take note that the Snowflakes needed to unlock a picture increases once a reward is claimed. So try to get as many Snowflakes as possible to unlock the pictures earlier.
