▲Note the symbol above Absol's HP, indicating that it is frozen.

If you have a buff or debuff on your Pokemon, it will be indicated by a symbol above it. This includes being debuffed by status ailments, but also turning invincible when, for example, using a Unite Move & scoring a goal.

2 Unique Symbols To Look Out For

Purple Eye

Aside from the buffs and debuffs, there are also unique symbols indicated above the Pokemon, which are the light bulb & the purple eye icon. More explanation on both of these can be found below.

What Is Light Bulb Symbol

Shows That A Pokemon Has Exp. Share

Light Bulb

The light bulb symbol is shown when a Pokemon is equipped with an Exp. Share. This indicates that the Pokemon is equipped with said item will gain Exp when an allied Pokemon gets the last hit on a Wild or enemy team Pokemon.

Exp. Share - How To Get & Stats

Suggested For Supporters

It is recommended that you equip the EXP. Share mainly on Supporter Pokemon, as they mainly focusing on helping allies and don't need massive amounts of experience themselves. Passing up experience to your allies is often a good idea when playing Support.

What Is Purple Eye Symbol

Appears When A Pokemon Is In Opposing Lane

What Is Purple Eye Symbol

The Purple Eye icon shows when the Pokemon is roaming through the opponent's area behind an enemy goal. This slows their movement speed, and is intended to stop higher level Pokemon from defeating opponents with a lower level.

What To Do During A Match

Lane Can Be Used As An Advantage

You can be outnumbered by your opponents if you tried to walk on their lane. So be cautious when defeating opponents in their own goal zone.
