Goal Of The Match
Earn A Higher Score Than Your Opponents
The winner of the match is determined by which team scores the most points. Players need to score using the opposing team's goals to win the match. Also, the score is doubled during the last 2 minutes of the match, so you'll need to use that opportunity to ensure victory!
Standard Battle Mode GuideDefeat Wild Pokemon
You also need to gather EXP and Aeos Energy Points by defeating Wild Pokemon. Experience points will grant you levels, which are the primary means of determining strength in this game, so you'll want to assertively farm exp whenever possible.
List Of Wild PokemonCompete With The Opposing Team & Get The Last Hit
You will of course be competing for all wild Pokemon with the enemy team. Take note that the overall damage done to a Pokemon does not matter - the only thing that does is who gets the last hit. Make sure to either get the last hit or harass enemies as they try to farm Wild Pokemon.

Defeat Opposing Pokemon To Score
If you get attacked while attempting to score, your cast will be interrupted. To prevent this, it's preferable to defeat opponents that are protecting the goal zone first. You'll likely struggle to do this alone, so make sure to get the cooperation of your lanemate (and ideally, jungler).
Check The Map For Nearby Opponents Before Charging In
Map awareness is an absolute must in any MOBA game. Constantly be on the lookout for missing opponents and roamers. Before you get into an engagement, check your minimap to see if all enemy players are accounted for!
Scoring Guide - How To Score PointsDestroy The Opponents' First Goal
Try to destroy the first goal, as it only requires scoring 80 points to break. Destroying it prevents enemies from recovering and also removes the 2 Yellow (Sitrus) Berries behind the goal. Doign so may provide you with an advantage when it comes time to contest Drednaw or Rotom.
Tips & Strategies For Mid Game
Defeat Drednaw
Drednaw Spawn Time | |

Spawn Time | 7-minute mark during the match |
Respawn Time | 2 minutes after capturing |
Effect When Captured | Provides shield & EXP for the whole team |
Drednaw has a set spawn time for every match, appearing in the bottom lane at the 7 minute mark. Your team will receive EXP and Shields once Drednaw is defeated, so prioritize defeating Dreadnaw for an added advantage during the match.

Rotom will immediately head to your opponent's goal once captured and will fight any Pokemon that stands in its way. Your scoring time on that goal will become instant, similar to the effect that Zapdos provides. Try to capture Rotom during the 7 to 2 minute mark of the match and use it to press the attack or distract opponents from another lane.

Defeat Zapdos
Zapdos Effects When Defeated |
---|
1. The team that defeated Zapdos gains 20 Aeos Energy Points per Pokemon. |
2. The scoring time for all of the opposing team's goals is instant for 20 seconds |
3. The team that failed to defeat Zapdos will be hit by its lightning, inflicting a stun. |
During the last 2 minutes, Zapdos appears in the middle part of the central area. Your team can obtain all the benefits listed above by defeating Zapdos. This is the most crucial objective and can decide the outcome of a match, so you absolutely cannot ignore it!
Zapdos Guide - Spawn Location & StrategyScore Points Assertively
The value of points literally doubles in the last two minutes, meaning that this is the most important time to score. If you got Zapdos, immediately head for the enemy goal to score.
Tip! | You can only score on opened up goals - this means that if the two secondary goals are still up, you cannot score in the final goal (closest to the enemy spawn). Make sure you destroy the goals in order! |
