The Strongest Characters in NTE are Shinku, Lacrimosa, and Hotori

The strongest characters in NTE are the three limited units: Shinku, Lacrimosa, and Hotori. Shinku is a high‑damage main attacker who excels in Charge formations, Lacrimosa is an attacker who delivers steady damage through sustained effects, and Hotori is a powerful sub‑attacker who can use time stop to help allies deal additional skill damage.

Best Standard Characters: Jiuyuan & Sakiri

Among the permanent characters, Jiuyuan and Sakiri are highly recommended. At A1, Jiuyuan can also function effectively as a healer, while Sakiri performs well across various content as a buffer.

Daffodill: A Great Long-Term Investment

Daffodill is a crucial character for building a second party. Since two parties are required for end-game content, she becomes an essential character in the long run.

Best Free Characters: Chiz & Haniel

NTE’s free characters are also strong. Chiz excels as an attacker and is especially useful for farming Fons, which is important in the early game. Haniel is also a highly effective buffer, with performance comparable to S Rank characters despite being A Rank.

Ranking Criteria

The evaluation criteria for the NTE tier list are based on three key points: high DMG/buffing capabilities, high durability, and versatility in team compositions. Characters who can be used in a wide variety of teams are ranked higher, while those who are only useful in specific situations receive a lower rating.

High DMG Output & High Buff

High DMG output and strong buffing capability are the primary evaluation criteria. In addition to assessing a character’s performance as a damage dealer, buffers that significantly enhance an attacker’s potential are rated equally highly.

High Durability & High Healing Ability

After DMG output and ATK buffs, durability and healing are also evaluated. For beginners and in certain content, survivability can be more important than raw damage, so it is included as a key evaluation criterion.

Versatility Across Team Compositions

Character versatility is also a key evaluation criterion. While characters that excel in specific content are rated accordingly, those that perform well across a wide range of content are evaluated more highly.
