Investigate and Develop Talos-II

Arknights: Endfield is set on the moon "Talos-II", where a team from Endfield Industries has come to investigate and develop the area. While it is blessed with fertile lands and abundant resources, it is also plagued by unknown threats and dangers.
History of Talos-II

Pioneers came to Talos-II from a planet called Terra. They have been developing Talos-II over many generations to build the current Civilization Band.
The "Endministrator" Awakes

The Endministrator (player character) is a crucial figure in the progress of Talos-II's civilization. They had fallen into a long slumber, only to wake up with some of their memories missing.
Objectives and Game Systems
Endministrator's Role in the Story

In Arknights: Endfield, the Endministrator is tasked to explore Talos-II with their allies. Their adventure will include combat, production planning, and facility establishment. They will also be present in their character's improvement.
Gameplay and World Features

Although Arknights: Endfield is an open-world action RPG, it features elements commonly found in different game genres. It is officially described as a 3D Real-Time Strategy RPG.

Combat in Arknights: Endfield will have you controlling a character with 3 other characters helping them in battle. You can switch between the characters on your team, allowing you to make full use of their skills.

Abundant resources symbolic of Talos-II are scattered around the world for you to investigate and collect. Explore Talos-II in search of new discoveries and see the world's magnificent landscape.
Industrial System You Can Build Freely

The collected resources you gather can be used to process and produce various products in your Automated Industrial Complex. Connect facilities with conveyors and Electric Pylons to build your plant. Earn profit from trading or create Gear for your characters to use.
Factions and Characters
Endfield Industries

An independent corporation that supports the exploration and construction of facilities in Talos-II. This is the same organization the Endministrator is a part of. They are the first pioneer groups to reach Talos-II, with their predecessor involved with Rhodes Island. They play a major role in developing civilization with their advanced scientific tech.
Endministrator

The main protagonist of Arknights: Endfield. They are shrouded in mystery, having been in a mysterious sleep for quite a time. Their achievements is well-known and is widely recognized among the people. They have the ability to control Originium and the Protocol Network.
Perlica

Perlica is the supervisor and leader of the industrial group. She is an expert in Techno-Protocol who deals with any challenges calmly and accurately. While assisting the Endministrator, she provides combat support as well.
Aggelos

An Aggelos is a creature that has adapted to the environment to enhance themselves. They are extremely hostile and are a threat to humanity. In the past, they were part of the First Aggeloi War.
Ankhor

These unidentified devices appear in the sky and randomly drop across Talos-II, generating Aggeloi from nearby natural materials.
Landbreakers

Landbreakers are those outside of the Civilization Band. They are highly capable of surviving in the harsh wilderness of Talos-II. Most Landbreakers are aggressive and will attack people in settlements.
Things to Know Before Playing
Should You Play Arknights First?

It's fine even if you have not played the previous game. The fundamental settings of the world are shared, but the story itself is new. You can enjoy Arknights: Endfield with no prior knowledge of the series.
