Should You Pull the Tangtang Banner?

Tangtang | Mar 12, 2026 12:00 - Mar 29, 2026 11:59 (server time) |
Pull for Cryo Infliction Support
Tangtang features an easy-to-use Battle Skill and Combo Skill, and can reliably apply Cryo Infliction and Arts Susceptibility. Additionally, her Ultimate can incapacitate enemies to create massive damage windows. Tangtang is a highly powerful support character who shines in compositions that rely on Cryo Infliction.
Incapacitate Enemies With Ultimate
Tangtang's Ultimate is highly effective against bosses and has a low Ultimate Energy cost, making it both powerful and easily spammable. Being able to cast it multiple times throughout a fight allows Tangtang to provide massive crowd-control value to the team.
Example Tangtang Teams
| Main Team Examples | |||
Tangtang | Yvonne | Xaihi | Gilberta |
Tangtang | Last Rite | Xaihi | Fluorite |
Tangtang | Endministrator | Estella | Alesh |
Tangtang | Endministrator | Perlica | Chen Qianyu |
By chaining a Battle Skill -> Combo Skill -> Battle Skill rotation, Tangtang can maintain Cryo Infliction and Arts Susceptibility, allowing her to slot smoothly into a wide variety of team comps. Naturally, she excel the most in teams built directly around Cryo Infliction.
P1 Increases Battle and Combo Skill Uptime
While Tangtang is already a very powerful support even at P0, reaching P1 reduces their Combo Skill cooldown by 2 seconds and increases her Battle Skill's SP return by 5. This is a massive Potential upgrade that significantly improves her overall skill uptime, making P1 a highly recommended investment.
Should You Pull Her Signature Weapon?
| Pickup Weapon | Event Period |
Brigand's Calling | March 12, 2026 12:00 - Ends after 3 Chartered Headhunting banners |
Must Pull Alongside Tangtang

Tangtang's signature weapon, Brigand's Calling, boosts Cryo DMG while increasing the Arts DMG taken by enemies.
In addition to enhancing Tangtang's personal offensive capabilities, it is a powerful weapon that significantly increases the entire team's overall DMG output. If you plan to pull for Tangtang, securing this weapon as well is highly recommended.
Home Longing is a Great Alternative

If you skip the signature weapon, Home Longing, available from the Protocol Pass, is a fantastic choice. The weapon's effect triggers perfectly during Tangtang's frequent Combo Skill -> Battle Skill rotation, heavily boosting her personal DMG output.
Home Longing - Stats and Skills
| Tips! | Home Longing is exclusive to the "Weapon Supply: Dark Currents" and cannot be pulled from the Arsenal Issue (Weapon Banner). |
|---|
Other Options
| Weapon | Features |
Wedge | - Increases Critical Rate - Increases Arts DMG when triggering an Arts Reaction with a Battle Skill - Easy to maintain uptime simply by using the Battle Skill |
Clannibal | - Increases Arts DMG - Tangtang cannot activate the weapon skill - Used primarily as a stat stick; perfectly viable at P0 |
Opus: The Living | - Increases Agility and Arts DMG - Increases ATK when triggering an Arts Reaction - Most recommended option among 5-Star and lower weapons |
Origeometry Cost for BiS Weapon
| P0 + Signature Weapon | P1 + Signature Weapon |
| 1120 (approx. $290) | 1600 (approx. $415) |
*Calculated assuming the worst-case scenario for the Character Banner (8160 Arsenal Tickets from 120 pulls).
If you pull the signature weapon immediately after obtaining the character, it is generally cheaper to convert Origeometry into Arsenal Tickets. However, if you are aiming for the character's P1, pulling 240 times will grant you at least enough Arsenal Tickets for 80 weapon banner pulls, allowing you to guarantee the signature weapon as well.
