Fishious Rend Is King

Fishious Rend effectively has a 382 base power, after calculating Strong Jaw, STAB, & the 2x first-hit bonus. This allows it to massively threaten slow, physical walls like Toxapex, Ferrothorn, & Galarian Corsola.

Use Tailwind Or Max Airstream

Having a teammate which sets up a speed boost like Tailwind or Max Airstream allows Dracovish to strike first and dominate most teams. Try to use Pokemon that can set this up before and sweep with Dracovish.

Clear The Choice Band By Dynamaxing

Your Choice Scarf limitation will be lifted after Dynamaxing. This will allow you to choose a new move. Use it to your advantage when up against opponents that resist your Fishious Rend.

How To Play Against Dracovish

Watch Out For Rain and Outspeed It!

You'll be left with nothing to worry about if you can simply outspeed Dracovish! At its absolute fastest with a Jolly nature and Scarf, it has 208 Speed (at Lv. 50). Anything above this will be sufficient.

Face It With A Focus Sash

A Focus Sash will allow you to survive Fishious Rend with 1 HP. If you can hit it back with a powerful move of your own after, you should be able to take it out.

Careful When Switching In

Fishious Rend deals double damage when Dracovish hits the user first. This means that switching in triggers the double damage bonus!

Hit It For Regular Damage

Water/Dragon may have few weaknesses, but it also has very few resistances. This means that most moves will be able to deal regular 1x damage to it. Avoid using Steel, Fire, and Water moves and you should be able to overpower Dracovish.

Can You Breed Dracovish?

Unfortunately, getting Dracovish is a little bit more difficult than most Pokemon, due to it being a fossil. This means it cannot be bred, not even with Ditto! Your only option here is to get lots of Fossils and keep making new ones until they have decent IVs.
