Supplementing Duraludon's Low Sp. Def
This build addresses Duraludon's rather low 50 Sp. Def stat with an Assault Vest, as it doesn't need to use any support/status moves anyway.
Light Metal Ability
Frankly speaking, all of Duraludon's abilities are somewhat lackluster. For single battles, we recommend Light Metal, as it can at least lessen the damage of Low Kick. For doubles, we recommend the hidden ability Stalwart.

Use To Set Up Screens
This build focuses on having Duraludon set up Light Screen & Reflect. Holding the Light Clay allows it to extend the duration of both screens to 8 turns. It's also possible to mitigate the recoil damage of Steel Beam as well.
Rock Tomb Recommended
For your fourth move, we recommend bringing Rock Tomb. It lowers the opponent's speeding, making it quite handy vs Pokemon that raise their speed using Max Airstream (such as Gyarados, Togekiss, and Fan Rotom).

Stat | Base Point |
---|---|
Sp. Attack | 252 points (max) |
Speed | 252 points (max) |

Dual Screen Setup Build
Stat | Base Point |

Lucario | Pros - Can 1 shot depending on Nature and Item with Aura Sphere - Most Duraludon don't run Fighting or Ground moves, so switch-ins are safe Cons - None |

How To Play Against Duraludon
Identify The Build
It is key to determine exactly what build an opponent's Duraludon is running. There is unfortunately no way to know before fighting it, but if you see Duraludon come out first, there is a high chance that it's a Dual Screen user.
Use Ground Type Moves
Although Fighting moves are also effective, the current meta is somewhat lacking in Fighting type Pokemon. As such, Ground pokemon like Excadrill are your best bet.
