Sludge Wave	Good way to deal with Fairy types.
Thunderbolt	Good for dealing with Gyarados.

How To Play Against Goodra

Goodra is a defensively tanky Pokemon with decent offensive capabilities. If it invests 252 into Special Attack, you'll have to tread carefully. For this reason, Fairy types with high defenses such as Sylveon or Togekiss are recommended. Make sure you determine what item is being used before you plan your attack.

Goodra - Competitive Breeding Process

1	Catch Goomy (Sliggoo) at the Lake of Outrage (Shield ver. Only)
2	Hatch Eggs until you get a High IV Goomy
3	Breed that Goomy until you get one with a Modest or Calm Nature.
4	Put 252 EVs in Special Attack and Speed
5	Max out its Dynamax Level
6	Reach Lv. 50 during rain to evolve to Goodra
7	Teach it Fire Blast, Sludge Wave, Thunderbolt, and Draco Meteor

How To Get Goomy and Sliggoo

The first step to Breeding Goodra will be to catch either a wild Sliggoo or Goomy. Head to the Lake of Outrage in the Wild Area to find these Pokemon. Note that these area requires you to travel on water, and will only be accessible after the 6th Gym.
