Use As A Lead
Sandaconda is quite defensively bulky and lacks a 4x weakness due to its single-typing. Due to this, it can safely set up Stealth Rock and even get a Glare off on the target to set the stage for another of your Pokemon to come in. Make use of Sand Spit to trigger a Sandstorm and bring in Pokemon that will benefit from it.
Sand Spit Wins Weather Wars
Sand Spit triggers a Sandstorm every time Sandaconda is attacked. As such, you can overwrite your opponent's weather every time you're hit. This is a distinct advantage over other Sandstorm users like Hippowdon.
Easily Paralyzes Opponents
Another point of distinction with Hippowdon is that Sandaconda can paralyzes foes easily with Glare. Unlike Sleep, Paralysis does not recover naturally, so it's easier to use it to set up for your other Pokemon.

How To Play Against Sandaconda
Taunt It!
Taunt is an excellent way to deal with Sandaconda, as it prevents it from setting up its Stealth Rock and using Glare. However, there is a chance it's an offensive build, so this might not always work.
Hit It Hard And Fast
Sandaconda's Speed is rather average, and its HP/SP.Def are rather low. This means that you'll be able to break through it if you just apply enough force with a strong super effective Water or Grass move. It also lacks recovery moves, so you should be able to deal with it.
