Fixed As Of 19:00 PDT Update!

As of June 29th, 19:00 PDT, the Sword/Shield in-game error appears to have been patched and fixed. You should be able to do the new Max Raid Battles again. However, make sure to connect to the internet to update your game beforehand.

Pokemon Home In Emergency Maintenace

Pokemon Home appears to still be down, but this time under emergency maintenance. It is unknown how long it will continue.

Occurred Due To Max Raids On June 29th

On June 29th (US time), Pokemon Home was hit by a communication error, meaning it is currently unusable.This error seems to be causing in-game crashes for Pokemon Sword and Shield as well.

Crash Caused By "Item 1604"

The origin of this bug is thought to be the drop of an unnamed item only known as Item 1604 from Max Raid Battles. We recommend players do not participate in new max raid battles until this event is patched, as your game will likely crash. If you haven't saved recently, you risk losing data this way.

Fix Not Yet Implemented

The bug itself has not yet been fixed as of 18:00 Pacific Time on June 29th. We will update this page when a patch is implemented, so check back later.
