Visit Any Pokemon Center In Galar Region

If you want one of your current Pokemon to remember a forgotten move, just visit any Pokemon Center in the Galar Region.

Speak With Man Behind Left Counter

Head inside the Pokemon Center and talk to the man on the counter next to the Rotomi.

Choose To Remember Forgotten Move

Once you speak to the man, choose the Pokemon that you want to remember any forgotten moves. This will open up the options & let you change your Pokemon's move list.

Relearning Forgotten Moves Is Free

With previous Pokemon games, it was impossible to relearn forgotten moves or you'd have to use very rare items to be able to use this feature. In Sword & Shield, relearning moves is free for all trainers.

Man Can Also Make Pokemon Forget Moves

The NPC behind the counter can also make any of your Pokemon forget any of the moves in its arsenal. Choose this option if you want to free up space for another move the Pokemon may have forgotten.

What Are Forgotten Moves?

Replaced Moves When Pokemon Learns New Ones

When a Pokemon reaches a certain level, it can learn a new move. Forgotten moves are the ones you choose to be replaced by the new one.

Is Removed From Pokemon's Move List

When a Pokemon forgets a move, these are automatically removed from their move list and cannot be used in battle anymore. They can only be remembered by talking to the NPC in any Pokemon Center in the region.
