Purchase At The Hammerlocke Pokemon Center

The Destiny Knot can be purchased at the central Pokemon Center in Hammerlocke for a cost of 10 BP. Be careful, the BP Vendors in the Battle Tower do not sell the Destiny Knot.

Normal Effect	If the Pokemon holding it becomes infatuated, its opponent will also become infatuated.
Effect In The Nursery	Parents can pass down 5 IVs to their children

Passes Down 5 IVs From Parents

When a Pokemon holds the Destiny Knot breeds, the child produced will inherit 5 IVs from its parents. If both parents have 6 max IVs, you can guarantee that a Pokemon with at least 5 max IVs will be born. This item is extremely useful for breeding.
