Marnie's Grimmsnarl will Dynamax, boosting its already powerful stats. We recommend either bringing out a Pokemon that can tank the hits for 3 turns, or trying to OHKO with a faster Pokemon.

Have Fighting-Type Moves Ready!
Hop brings out a Dubwool and Snorlax, both weak to Fighting-type moves. Snorlax is quite a wall, so make sure you have a Pokemon to deal with it. You can also use status changing moves to whittle it down.
He Dynamaxes His Starter!
Be prepared to deal with his beefed-up starter. However, if you've brought your original starter along, you should be able to take it out quite easily!
