New Ribbons, Marks, and Titles - What Are They?

Special Marks On Wild Pokemon

When you catch a Pokemon in the wild, it has a chance to have a certain mark on its ribbon page. A Pokemon with a certain mark will be given a special title. This title may have something to do with the time of day you caught the Pokemon.

Limited To Wild Pokemon

It currently seems that these titles are limited to Wild Pokemon, so you might not be able to breed for them. In this case, it's worth trying to catch strong Pokemon in the Wild Area to train up!

Titles Can Be Seen In Battle

When a trainer sends out a Pokemon with a title, it will be visible to everyone in the battle. You can show off your Pokemon's personality to friends or players online!

Titles Must Be Equipped First

In order to display your title, you will have to select it by pressing A on the Mark in the Ribbon screen of the Pokemon summary! A green icon will appear indicating that you've 'equipped' your title.
