What Makes Zacian Good?

Incredible Attack and Unique Special Move

Zacian is arguably the best Legendary Pokemon in this generation so far. When holding the Rusted Sword, he has a terrifying 170 Attack and 148 Speed.

Great For Max Raid Battles

Zacian is a must for Max Raid Battles & generally any strategy requiring farming due to Behemoth Blade, which deals double damage to Dynamaxed Pokemon. His Ability also causes him to boost his Attack, making him even stronger.

How To Get A Strong Zacian

Catching Zacian Process

1	Defeat Zamazenta in the end-game story
2	Don't forget to turn off auto save!
3	Save here before fighting Zacian
4	Catch Zacian and check its stats. Reset and repeat as necessary!

1. Defeat Zamazenta In The End Game

In order to catch a Zacian, you will need to progress through the endgame story up until the Zacian fight. You will need to take down Zamazenta beforehand.

2. Turn Off Auto-Save!

The most important thing here is to turn off autosave. This can be accessed from the options menu. This will allow you to manually save the game whenever you want.

Set Text To Fast

In the same menu (at the very top), you can also change the text speed to fast. This is highly recommended to speed up the process.

3. Save Before Fighting Zacian

After the cutscenes are over, you will regain control of your character. Immediately save your game here!

4. Catch Zacian Over And Over

Use the Master Ball to catch Zacian and check his Individual Strengths from the PC! If you are not happy with them, restart and try again until you get the stats you want! Natures can be changed later, so focus on getting 31 Attack and Speed!
