Available During Anomaly Quests

All Afflicted Materials can be obtained from "Anomaly Quests" that can be unlocked by doing Anomaly Quest and Anomaly Investigation. You can obtain it through the destruction of body parts of monsters and clearing quests.

Raise Anomaly Research Level To Get Some Afflicted Materials
Some high-level materials, such as the Afflicted Dire Scale, can only be obtained through Anomaly Investigation Quests. There are also conditions such as having a Research level of 31 or higher, making it a high priority to raise the level first before collecting materials .

Used To Upgrade Weapons And Decorations
Afflicted Materials are needed to upgrade Rarity 10 Weapons and for creating strong Decorations. Note that a lot of Afflicted Materials are needed for each upgrade, so try to collect as many materials as you can.
Used For Qurious Crafting
Afflicted Materials are also needed for "Qurious Crafting" in which they can strengthen weapons and armor and give out random stats. However, it will require a large sum of materials to proceed with the upgrade, so make sure to farm on those specific materials.
