Bring items that you're sure to need during hunts. Antidotes and Nulberries are not always needed, but having them in your inventory is a good addition just in case. Eating food before leaving will also give you status buffs so don't forgot to do it!
Use Spiribirds During Hunts
Spiribirds provide different buffs to players when they are encountered. When you see one on your route to the monster, don't avoid them! They're a good way of getting free buffs on the way to the hunt.
Try Hunting With Other Players
Hunting with other players is a good way to learn from others! Other than helping you complete the quest, hunting with others will show how other players tackle the monster and you give pointers on how you can do so as well.
