The Buddy Plaza contains all of the Buddy-related facilities in Kamura Village. Here you can get access to the Meowcenaries, Buddy Dojo, Buddy Scout, and more!

In past games, facilities related to Palicos are unlocked after progressing through the story. It's similar here in Monster Hunter Rise as well. There are functions that are unlocked only when you clear specific quests!

Buddy Scout
You can hire or dismiss Palamutes and Palicos by talking to Buddy Handler Iori. Here you can also edit their appearance and voice to your liking!
Does Iori Also Train Buddies?
Although Iori is enthusiastic about the Palamutes and Palicos, but she currently does not train any of them. If you leave them to her, they will just stay there. No stats will increase.
Meowcenaries
Meowcenaries will allow you to send out your Palicos and Palamutes to expeditions where they can collect materials and items after a while. Here, your main point of contact are other Palicos and Palamutes that are part of the mercenary group.
Argosy
The Argosy functions similar to that of the Harvesting Box in Monster Hunter World. When making use of it, you can multiply specific types of items and ingredients for use.
Buddy Dojo
The Buddy Dojo will allow you to send your Palamute and Palico to train them. You can also use it to go to the Training Grounds where you can pracitce your weapons and combos!
