There Are 5 Types Of Boss In The 1st Challenge

There are five distinct bosses that appear in the first challenge, but you won't know which three will appear until you attempt to play the match. In the first round, one boss is picked at random from Araquanid, Drednaw, and Avalugg. Then in the second round, either Articuno or Zapdos appears. Regigigas usually shows up in the third final round. So keep this in mind when choosing for the best Pokemon to use against them in the Boss Rush Event.

Hide Behind Pile Of Snow When Articuno Uses Blizzard

Articuno's Blizzard has a wide area of effect that covers the entire place. The attack will come from the direction where Articuno has used Blizzard. Pay attention when Articuno uses this move and check out for a nearby snow pile which you can use to take cover to avoid getting damaged by this SS attack. This is the same for Regigigas Icy Wind & Rock Tomb.
Stay Away From Shocked Allies From The Shock Wave

Zapdos and Regigigas's Shock Wave can shock allies. If an ally Pokemon comes into contact within the electrified area of effect of a shocked Pokemon, it will receive damage. In the instance that you are affected by the Shock Wave, make sure to attack the Boss Pokemon while keeping your teammates in mind to avoid electrocuting them accidentally and sending them back to the base.

Make Sure To Include Defenders In The Team Lineup
The boss's attacks are so strong that only the most Defenders and Pokemon with high endurance can resist them. The boss attacks are mainly aimed mostly at the defender types and tanky Pokemon with high endurance, so make sure to include them so that the other allies can freely attack while the boss is preoccupied with them.
In particular, Slowbro is recommended due to its high durability and its Amnesia ability which it can use to hold down the Boss Pokemon to create attack opportunities for its allies. Blissey and Eldegoss can further increase Slowbro's survivability in battle by providing heals and buffs.
All Defenders ListAttackers Are Highly Recommended To Quickly KO Boss
The quicker you KO a boss, the more points you earn. Aim for a quick KO with a Pokemon with good fighting ability and range, such as Decidueye or Cinderace that can deliver high amount of damage over time from a safe distance.
